Cipher032 got a reaction from DarthVincenzo in Krennic L3 Adjustment Strap, Hessen Antique Update
I just found the new option for Hessen Antique's Custom Order Riding Boots and the straps do face to the rear per their photo. Seems aspiring Krennics now have another source for L3 boots. Apologies if this is already known.

Agreed.
The Legion PR rep can likely answer all of these questions, however, in an official manner. (pro@501st.com)

Not sure about detachment-specific numbers, but I bet they're around too.

Cipher032 reacted to Riviate in Hot Toys Tarkin
Looks great. I have yet to decide whetever to get it or not. It would look good on my own HT/SS collection of 1/6 Imperials. Now to just hope they go for Krennic as well.

Cipher032 reacted to Bartend23 in Rank Bar build (first try)
This is my first attempt at creating a rank bar. How exacting do I have to be? I can redo it if it's terrible-I used a semi-permanent adhesive called 3-bond, in case I screwed up.
I haven't cleaned up the excess or pencil marks yet. Still waiting for the 3-bond to dry.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Must have been an awesome evening. I really adore Giacchinos Music! But I'd never thought him to be 50 already.

Went to a troop on Friday for Micheal Giacchino's 50th birthday a great night where I and my fellow Troopers got to hang with Gareth Edwards for a bit, we talked to him regards Rogue one, Adam Savage presented the show and at one point wore an Anovos Krennic.

The 1st boots look spot on and I believe the CRL model wears the same

Cipher032 reacted to Paggeldiwwer in Magnoli Director Clarification
You found yet another interesting Detail on the Rogue One tunics: the dart running down from the collar is a little longer than the horizontal line of the pockets edges. It's the same with Tarkin here:
And this is him in ANH: the dart ends with the horizontal line of the pocket-edges:
Thank you for pointing this out

Cipher032 got a reaction from Paggeldiwwer in Magnoli Director Clarification
Looking at the picture of Krennic in the Coruscant, his cylinder pockets seem to be about 1/3 up the dart. Would that be about an inch difference on the Magnolia tunic?

That's what I found on that request. All too white to really see the collar-dart. But what I could figure out was the codecylinder-pockets are hanging low towards the armpit. I'd prefer them to be somehow more horizontal. But maybe that's just how the uniform fits on their model.

Cipher032 reacted to Dimentex in Magnoli Director Clarification
I'm not able to go searching to see, but if they're at the bottom of the dart and not the middle, yes, they are too low.

Cipher032 reacted to Angelus in Line/Staff/Krennic Poncho
Here are some of the pattern (will try to add more soon) and picture of the build for Line/Staff/Krennic Poncho
Take note that
1) Krennic's Cape is much longer then the Line/Staff officer's cape
2) Krennic front have a pocket. But the Line/Staff officer do not have.
The patterning is pretty easy it is just the sewing the detail of the line can be hard. So do change the needle on the sew machine if you are planing to do it yourself. Using the normal needle can sometime cost the sting to jump a few sticting. Do be careful when sewing waterproof fabric as once you poke a hole, the hole stays.
Needle: Microtex
The cape is more of a rectangle shape. So cut two of this. And if you have a mannequin, it will be better. so you can pin the cape to the top part nicely.
It will be better to pin and see where you want the below part to be.
This is my test mock up on krennic's pocket. I think it is called a Welt Pocket.
Here are some of the links on how to do it

The Opening of the top cape
ok this is how I did it.
ok. You can see the different in the cape length of it.
If you really want to be more waterproof (not for heavy rain), you can try to spray waterproof spray onto the costume (or for your daily wear too!). But every how and then you have to spray it. Because the waterproof spray do not stay onto the outfit very long. It is really usefull for hats! I did use some of the waterproof spray when I go oversea on my hat or my jacket when there is light rain like England.....
It looks something like this.

My DT-29 is too heavy so its falling out. Now I make new one, lighter and more accurate. And also new holster (this one is too small for my blaster). I think holster should be little bigger, but I will try it with new skin and new blaster.

Cipher032 reacted to DarthFunk83 in 3D Scans
Recently at the Edmonton Expo I had an opportunity to get 3D scanned, with the option, if I liked the scans, to get a 3D printed figurine of myself. I thought it was a pretty cool idea, so I got 2, one with Thrawn, the other with Tarkin. There are some weird edge effects on some parts of the scans, but overall I think they came out pretty good. I dont have the money right now to get my own figurine, but one day, I will. Check them out!!
