You know what, I didn't even notice about the zipper. I was planning on buying some too!
-
I don't think the second ones would work either. The strap is supposed to be all the way at the top, and the panel looks to be more for the Soviet boots than German ones.
Crow props has some, but I think those are over $100. Might just want to save up a bit more "buy once, cry once".

I have the unlined version of those and I love them. My fingers are still really nimble in them as well

From where though? I have some, just wondering where other people get theirs from.

What did you go with?

From the CRL:
" Boots may have a single adjustment strap at the top outside of the boot, with the buckle no wider than 1". "
So that's probably going to be a no, since they are not all the way at the top.
Look for knobleknocker on ebay or on ebay.de and see if it can ship to the US.

All I can think of is Starship Troopers and "Would you like to know more?"
I dig the uniform though. Just different enough to stand out

If you are really worried, their custom boots are only $300.

They suggest going up to a 10. You can always wear thicker socks or put in some inserts.

UK or US size?

I got called Space Force by a cop at DragonCon.
This will certainly be the new one for a while...

What about the "diving into the bridge operations pit like an A-Wing just flew through the window" action pose?
Definitely one of the better action poses, but certainly more difficult...
I just used the "I am pointing here!" pose for my staff. I had my body angled with my pointing shoulder further forward. You could do that "thinking" pose like Tarkin or what XAlpha posted.

I got "No, that's Darth Vader's son!" the other day. Although I am not sure if they were talking about me as a Staff Officer or the Sandtrooper. Either way it was a good laugh. It probably didn't help that people attending the event were several drinks in.

Something similar is what I use
My girlfriend got one a while back, just for if we went to RennFest or a con and she didn't want to lug a purse or backpack around. Worked out fine for just carrying ID, a card, some cash and her phone.
-
I tuck my phone under my pants belt. That's about all I can carry though. I know someone else who was sewing pockets on the inside of the tunic, in between the snaps.
Something like this might work too.

Yeah I use boot hooks on my Mux boots to get them on, and a boot jack to get them off. They're custom-made so they're the exact right size for me, though.
Boot pulls and a boot jack are almost a must for the tall boots. Makes it so much easier especially since they are supposed to be snug.

I have a garment bag for the tunic and jodhpurs, and a large boot container from the Container Store for everything else. So I roll up to a troop carrying just the two things.
The boot bin is large enough to hold my Hessens (barely!), with plenty of extra room for the various costume accessories, including belt(s), the boot jack and boot hooks and blaster. Your standard plastic tub with a latching lid, but larger and flatter than usual, to accommodate the tall Hessen boots. I'm toying with picking up a cheap folding hand truck, then I can wheel everything out very easily. None of it weighs a lot, though, so to date, it hasn't been a huge hassle to transport.
I made a "tool roll up" out of soft polar fleece, wrapped in leather (laying across the boot above), to hold my various dosimeters, rank badges, and belt boxes, to keep that all nice and shiny. It fits in the boot box as well.
My hat I carry by wearing it on my head. Boxes tend to be too bulky, if you're going to protect it well!
I like that tool roll up. Might have to make one for myself...

I found this on Amazon, which would be nice since it has rollers.
I should also say that along with the normal accessories, I also carry boot pulls, boot remover, lint roller, deodorant, extra rank bars, belt boxes, gauntlets, and two sets of straps for my pants and gloves (if I am wearing them).
I'll try the second one out for next week's troop and see how that goes. I am just always paranoid about folding uniforms for fear of wrinkles.

Mux Leather is another one I see mentioned. They have a website or you can go through eBay.

Right now I just have a basic garment bag for the jacket and pants, then a gym bag for everything else. I was thinking of getting a boot bag, but then I would have 3 items to carry around. While not heavy, it would be a bit cumbersome.
What do you all do?

To add to Kris' comment, Imperial Boots is perfectly approvable, but for the price you pay (unless you really need a zipper), you might as well go for a good L3 boot from Hessen Antique.
Agreed, just asking more out of curiosity.

If a zipper is present on riding boots, it must be on the inside shaft.
Can it have the leather covering it, like the Imperial Boots ones?

Museum Replicas shut down their entire business for a few years. They're coming back, in theory, but in a more limited way. It's unknown, currently, as to what Star Wars products they'll be able to sell, if any (if they even get to that point), since Anovos currently holds the license.
Why hold the license if you aren't going to produce anything..

Where around DC are you going to be? I am in Maryland and I think you were the one asking about a meetup.
