Beckett is likely to be a face character and he is not an Imperial regardless of where he got his uniform its still a disguise. Hence the uncertainty

This is true, Beckett is a face character, his boots, gloves, secondary belts and personal firearms definitely make that so.

However, based on his wearing of an officer tunic, as well as all other evidence of Officers wearing the trench coats over basic tunics (both in Rouge One and in Solo), I believe the tunic should be left in as a required item and not be optional, since it is uncertain, and something must be worn underneath.

We see officers in the background of scenes who do not appear to be wearing scarves, so if the scarf is optional, then the tunic can not be, as without the scarf, you'd see a lack of tunic.

  2. Beckett Im not sure will be our concern being that its a disguise outfit

True, let me dig through screen caps. Can always move the tunic to optional.

Side question, do we ever see anyone’s pants either? Aside from Beckett?

  3. Didn’t think of that, I guess the tunic could be optional or removed, was something of a guess from my part. But as was said, you can see Beckett has an Officer tunic on and I am trying to keep it generic. If someone could lighten up a shot of the Major that tries to get Han up, we may see his collar to determine what he is wearing. I’ll look through more screen caps

I'm down for the officer having an E-11, but could he also have an E-10 as well? The Major that you have pictured (that explodes in front of Han) is carrying an E-10 with him

Could always add that on, I'm not super familiar with Blaster variants, I thought he had an E-11, easy add

  6. This may be a rookie question, but will we get a CRL for medic? I know there's a screen-grab out there of an arm-band symbol.. Or, is there a specific detachment that covers Imperial Medical Corps?

I believe that is already part of the Trooper CRL as an option

  7. Most of this is grabbed from existing CRLs, as well as the Mudtrooper CRL which is in progress over in SpecOps.

I did not include any CRL requirements for the back attachment of the Armor as it is never seen on screen, so the actual rigging of the armor would be left to the individual, although the use of Olive Drab colored webbing would be the most likely attachment.  It is also possible there was a back plate to the officer armor, but it is never seen, and no evidence exists

I will add pictures  as I get the components.   Though i am not going to add pictures of those items already covered in other CRLs such as the Line Officer uniform and various blasters.

  8. CRL Proposal text.  Much of this is from the Line Officer CRL, I will note major differences in color

REVISION 11/1/2018: under advisement from Detachment Staff.  Initial CRL will be for a Mimban Lieutenant, further additions may come later as add ons to this

REVISION 11/2/2018:  blaster option changed to reflect only the SE-14r and associated holster.  Requirement for coat and boots to be muddy/weathered added as optional Level 2/3 requirements.

REVISION 12/18/2018:  hat code disk L2/3 changed to NOT having a notch to match the current finding that R1 and Solo officers did not have notches on the hat disk.

  9. EDIT 11/1/2018
Under advisement from Detachment staff this CRL will be narrowed down a bit for its initial approval

    Title change to Mimban Lieutenant

This will be my official thread for the creation of this proposal

This new CRL proposal would cover A Mimban Lieutenant from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The primary basis for the CRL is Lt Borlandin, as he has the most screen time, and in better lighting than other officers who are seen briefly or in dark lighting.

Here are some general reference pictures of the Mimban Lieutenant from Solo

This will not be a CRL specific to the face character Lieutenant Borlandin to allow for further development to include other Mimban Officers, as well as to not require facial features and hairstyles exact to the named character.

  10. I agree it's definitely olive drab.   It is the same as the mud trooper build groups.  They have guys working on the chest plate too. So check with cantina supply here or intergalactic supply on Facebook and see if Jason has the armour available yet.

The armor is a big question mark, at least the back. The chest is identical to the regular Mud Trooper.

Is the back the same as the Trooper? Or is it a flat back piece? Or is it just the chest and neck with a webbing back?

We never see the back in the film, so unless someone gets info direct from the prop designers it may have to be left a bit open to the individual in the CRL

For my build to aid in making a CRL I may make 2 separate sets. One identical to the Trooper armor front and back. And the other with just a neck piece and a webbing back

  11. Agree on the optional.

It’s hard to tell if the hat greeblies are painted or just dusty/muddy, i’d lean toward painted though. The whole scene is shot in such dingy sepia toned lighting it’s hard to tell

The buckles and boxes are for sure painted though.

  12. I’m thinking Beckett for sure is his own CRL as he has way too many variations.

However the other officers generally have a common look but with variations

It may just be a CRL that has quite a few optional items/accessories such as a fur collar on the coat, the leather yugo pouch, goggles etc.

I would think the base CRL for this, looking at the common thread in the handful of officers we do see would be:

-Basic Line Officer uniform tunic and pants

    -Matching Hat

    -Riding boots

-Basic Imperial belt, but with painted buckle

-R1 or Shoretrooper belt box(s) also painted

    -Mudtrooper style chest armor

    -Line Officer Overcoat, R1 style

    -R1 style rank and dosimeters

    -olive drab scarf

    (Optional)

-correct Soviet goggles with side greeblies

    -fur collar on overcoat

-Yugoslavian M53 Pouch w Oiler pouch

-side arm with holster, open to the same options as officers have now, add the se-14?

I’m also planning on replicating Bolandin’s look.
