Dude keeps prowling in dark corners or bad lighting--on par with being in a mountain base. We should look for some visual guides to be published for it, and if it is, I'll happily submit for it.

Belt holes are canon and can be seen on-screen. But otherwise, no, there's not a good way to fill them, and it would be more cost-efficient to get a blank strip of leather and dye it, and reuse the buckle.

Are you looking for this to make just the modesty panel behind the collar (going off of post title)?

Hi there.
Feldgrau has many shades as they appear on screen with various lighting and camera technology.
Number 7 might be, as long as the rest of the jodhpurs/trousers and tunic meet the CRL standards and fits you well.
It would be best to talk to your GML as that is where the basic approval begins.
The shade of green in Number 7 might not be eligible for Executor and Imperator approvals if that's something you wish to pursue.
I'll also note that this photo is a bit concerning in the variety of jodphur styles on the top row. The brighter green one is most certainly from CosSky.
Hope this helps

Non-saga officers can have them, but not the OT currently. If this is a change you'd like to make, we'll need to provide references to present in discussion with the LMO.

Having also had the CSky tunics, there's not a whole lot of seam allowance.
It will honestly be easier work to pull in a larger garment if you buy a size up, rather than try and undo seams to increase the size of a smaller one.
Your mileage may vary from mine, but my alterations resource just charges flat per garment.
Ask your would-be tailor if they're comfortable working on the tunic to size down from larger.
My spouse sews, but does not do my tunic alternations, it's above their skill level, but 10/10 it's easier to bring something in.

Hello there.
While a lot of makers are more geared towards selling the finished product and may not be keen on sharing their patterns, there are still a lot of places to start on the actual sewing. A good search on the forums can get into it. From what I could find:
Also, one of our own members @Hawkhas some great videos on making it. -
Requesting the addition of a tab to Ysanne Isard for a version that combines the straight-leg trouser and short boots.
Appearance reference: Blackman, H., & Tomás Giorello. (2006). Star Wars Omnibus : X-Wing Rogue Squadron. Volume 1. Dark Horse Books. (Link to Amazon USA) (Digital of Page, Imgur)
Proposed text:
-
Copy straight-leg trouser text to a new tab.
(Version 1 should still keep this text as she also appears in tall boots and straight-leg pants tucked into them like many Imperial Officers) - Add our existing text for the Chelsea-style boot.
- A rank bar should not be required.

Copy straight-leg trouser text to a new tab.

What are you struggling the most with, foot size, calf size?

Meantime, the Firebirds do have a public-facing Facebook page where we've posted photos, if you want to peruse there. https://www.facebook.com/Firebirds105

Hi there.
There’s two sides to this: there are some members who take the armed forces aspect of the costume to heart, including minimal makeup (beyond, say, color correction) and low bun hair.
And there are others who do things differently, like their preferred eye makeup, hair and lip color.
For admission photos, your unit Membership Liaison *might* suggest the first approach. After all, the objective is to look movie- or show-accurate.
Me personally I don’t have the skill beyond an eyebrow pencil and a lip balm, and have either had my hair down or tied back if it’s warm.

I had a small 3-red rank bar when I first applied, because according to some charts it shows as the closest to my mother's actual military rank and she got me into Star Wars.
It lasted all of a month before I decided to get the 4-blue, 2 amber, an easily recognizable rank from the OT, because honestly it wasn't picking up very well on camera. The bigger ranks do lend a better 'command presence.'

I am not maintaining a waitlist. I do not have the availability.
If you want to try and get someone’s ticket for a change of plans I suggest posting the question in the event on Facebook or here.

Hi!
So this will be a first time for me, and I have some doubts regarding the event. I have read the FB group and this thread looking for answers, but since I didn't come to complete answers, I'm asking just to be sure.
First: Do we have to come to the event already changed and in full uniform or do we change there?
Second: I've seen in the discussions that the unfirms should be in line with IOC previous events. My question would be, costumes associated with IOC but not part of the detachment, could be used? To clarify, I'm trying to get ready this Aldani trooper version for celebration (the soldier butler version),
I don't know if it will fit or not for this event. And if it might create problems as it is not an IOC costume. So if not suitable I can totally take my line officer instead.
Thanks in advance for any clarification, and thanks for organizing all this!
There is no changing room. The venue has bars, a restaurant and is one of the city's largest indoor gardens.
The theme is the Empire at cocktails. While an IOC costume is not required, you'll probably look out of place in armor. Most will be in Officer uniforms. My spouse is Rebel Legion and so he's made a Senator.

Just noticed that the time for the event is in GMT. The UK changes to BST this weekend.
I'm assuming you mean BST.
Unlikely to confuse most people, but you never know..
Good point.

Thank you for confirming! Looking forward to receiving the paypal invoice (didn't get one yet)
I have a grad school exam and a government audit at work that's taking my attention first, then I'll get things sorted over the weekend

Yeah that’s fair. I changed the cancel date to March 26.

I just signed myself in as well! We are a group of five people so I entered "5" in "number of people in party" - is that correct? Or is it me + 4 people in party?
Further, it says "Save the link below, which can be used to edit your registration up until the registration closing date.".
There is no link shown, so I hope I signed in successfully. Thanks for checking!
That would be 5 total. It is for the number of people who want to get in.
I found both records so I deleted the one with 4.

The spreadsheet on my end says 1. Did you get a copy of your responses that said 2? If so send it to me at meitru23622 at gmail. -

No, but we do ask for guests to hold to the theme to keep this as to in-universe as possible for the photos.

I would like to suggest that it would be good to find a venue close to the convention centre. Alot of us a flying in on thursday and talking from experience there will be an unofficial meet and creed at some the closest pubs.
That way we can come straight from the Coctails to all the other fun
And I cannot find anything about the Sail Barge, can anyone helpHere's the Sail Barge event: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=249&t=111871
The aim is of course to find something close to the ExCel center. But we won't post any location until it's absolutely confirmed.
How to fill holes in an Imperial leather belt?
in Costume Questions - Ask Here!
Posted
It is not that the CRL text for the belt expressly forbids the presence of holes.
Nearly all the CRLs with the belt have the same language unless we note a specific dimension or style such as Rebels and The Clone Wars.
But we do have on-screen reference of them existing on-screen, starting with the Grand Moff himself.
