The fabric is called Feldgrau. Try doing a search for that, you may find some on Etsy or Ebay. I was lucky enough to have found a costume maker who had bought some from the German garrison.

Heading to Comic Con today and will be volunteering. My costume is 'based' up General Veers, eventually going to add the armor. So basically Imperial Line Officer, rank of General.

 

My question is, "Should I wear my hat at all times or is it acceptable to not wear it also?" I'll also ask my GML but wondered what you guys thought?

I'm requesting an advisor for help in building a Line Officer uniform. I have a tailored suit arriving tomorrow from "The Costume Maker's Guide to the Galaxy" I think I have everything I need but would love to go over the details with someone. I do have a mentor from the So Cal garrison for my TK build which is also a work in progress.
