Just received word from the LMO office that we are cleared to proceed.  Someone make the costume and present us with photos and we will assist in the creation of the CRL text. 

Yes, I also copy most of the wording from other existing CRLs, no changes unless the original wording is not suitable for the new character.

Some kind of 3D cutting? So Thrawn is not that broke afterall.
 
Anyway, if that new pattern exist, I'll suggest put it into Lv2 requirement at least, otherwise it's quite challenging for general makers.

God I thought I was the only one who notice. I agree with you. It looks like his code cylinder is a simple cylinder without any groove, so that the brass clip is free-floated and not in a consistant position.

But I won't put it into the draft CRL since there's no solid evidence, just speculation. And I wish that our CRL promote re-usability across similar characters instead of specification to one single character. After all, no two leaves are exactly the same in the world.

So here we go on the tunic(I've highlighted in red for some Thrawn specific items):
 
 
Tunic is constructed of a medium to heavy white twill weave fabric. Wool or wool-like twill weave is preferred. Double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke. Yoke wraps across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam. The standing collar has square corners and is between 1.25 inches (31.8 mm) to 2 inches (50.8 mm) tall dependent on wearer’s neck size. Collar closes snug. Modesty panel is OPTIONAL. Collar edges are closed with two (2) eye hooks. There are severe wears on the collar's edge. Two code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket located half way between the top and bottom on the arm hole. Sleeves are long, and without decoration, cuffs, or buttons. Sleeves contain 2 seams; one along the bottom and one along the back. At the bicep there are two seams running parallels to each other on both sides, with 5~7cm apart. The seams form a sharp bowl shape.  Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric), except for the few spots where the yoke close with the right sides of the clothes. Hook and eye fasteners on the uniform should not be visible. There are mess stitching  Optional: Up to six (6) hooks may be added through the sides of the tunic to hold belt in place. Hooks must be black.  
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a dart present on the top center of the yoke. The dart may vary in size due to the size of the wearer's individual tunic and how it fits, but should be between 2 to 4 inches (50.5mm to 101mm) in length. Typically, but not always, the dart ends at or below the top of the code cylinder pocket. There is a seam running the entire circumference of the tunic, dividing it along a line hidden by the uniform belt. The back of the tunic has princess seams that run vertically and turn outward to intersect the arm-hole seam at the vertical center. The bicep seams are constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric) The bicep lower seam ends exactly where the code cylinder pocket opening begins. The whole tunic is slightly worn. The mess stitching and worn spots align with the prop.

I don't think we'll see what the pistol blaster looks like until season 2. All we know for now is that the handle part is from Healthways Plainsman. Should we keep the pistol part blank? Or skip it?
Or should we wait for Season 2 then release the CRL?

I’m going to discuss the tunic section piece by piece. This one for example, I’m not sure what to call it.
 
In Thrawn's Rebel CRL, it says:

For eye color, I don't think there're much to be changed from Thrawn Rebels and Legends CRL.

While encouraged to complete the look of this character, the contact lens requirement will be waived for 501st acceptance, if the applicant cannot wear contact lenses for health related reasons. something more abbreviated may be better and it is something that we can consider.  Also remember that we have some First order officer uniforms which is why we have Imperial in front of some and First order in front of others.  But this is something to be considered. the names are convoluted.  I would rather not use Line or Staff for new production costumes as they are fan created and have no basis in what we are looking at.  That doesn't mean we can't come up with something shorter and works better.

OK, but most of the member won't know the exact name, so maybe we could come up with something easier to find? Like: ID-Officer: Security officer, (Black, Non-Saga)
And also, we should have them in pair(saga, non-saga) for both color, right? Now the other two are still missing.

To be honest, most of the people just know that they're black or Olive Drab office, and since there're not that much difference between the OT and non-saga(We can have the rank bar with two different standard in the same URL) , maybe we can simplified them and merge them into two?
