Jean got a reaction from Warhapper in Imperial Officer Crewman (Non saga)
    Hi everyone,

Sorry for not being part of the discussion before but just saw this and already have asked in the other thread. So, regarding the jumpsuit...The one that we used here is different than the one used by the pilot since it does not have the webbing area. The pleated area behind the shoulder is also seen in the pilot but considering that the initial CRL was done without that one, I understand that then that information was added as level 3.
Here I have pictures comparing my initial pilot and this new one, which was also used in the navy.

then, regarding the compad....the initial evidence of the compad showed above came from the mandalorian gunner and the ground crew and since it was not possible to find a picture of the "complete compad" (the one above is partial), then it was considered as an optional item and the other one was used. Well, life is in constant evolution and after looking again and again found a crewwoman with the compad and the picture is showing it complete. So, happy to update it. I also have it
    thanks for the imput

I added the but about the 3 inche bottom hem.
As for the collar top stitching, Kat smartly worded it so the number of lines isn't what counts, it's the distance between them that counts. smaller people with shorter collars will have less lines.

But I counted 9 in your example.

    @sundancekat@chicken45
I have 2 questions if you can help with them please. Latest draft says that the edge of the poncho has approximately 1 inch hem around all edges, but it seems that the bottom one is different (around 3 inches)
then, how may stitches would you consider in the neck (8-9?)
    thanks!!

@Jean  it looks fantastic!  Great great great work!

@chicken45 do we see belt boxes on any of these guys?  Listing them out (especially non-saga/andor) seemed kinda out of place with the rest of the CRL.

Made some changes to the tunic and hat and wrote the insignia section. Sending this back to the LMOs!

Imperial Security Services Officer: Rebels Model ID-12058, Photo by Jean Michel Butte Barrios
Description: Imperial Security Services Officer: Rebels
    Prefix: ID
    Detachment: Imperial Officer Corps
    Context: Rebels
The Security Services are a separate branch to the Imperial Army and Navy composed of members ideologically committed to the preservation of the Emperor's New Order. The elite officers and enlisted of the Security Services are entrusted with key security checkpoints, detention blocks, star destroyer bridges, and production facilities. They often augment imperial military forces and lead stormtroopers.

This CRL is a work in progress and is not yet ready to use for any approval!
Required Costume Components The following costume components are present and appear as described below.

Tunic, Black Fabric is a medium weight black colored suiting material matching the trousers (and hat, if present). Tunic is double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke. Yoke comes up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam. The standing collar has square corners, is between 1.25" (31.8 mm) and 2" (50.8 mm) tall, and closes snugly. The wearer’s neck must not be visible between the closed collar edges. A modesty panel behind the collar closure is recommended to help with this, but is not required. Collar edges are closed together in front with two eye hooks. Collar has accoutrements that match on screen references. There are code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket, from about half way between the top and bottom on the arm hole. A central seam runs down the back of the tunic, with no princess seams. Tunic has long sleeves which are without decoration, cuffs, or buttons. Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric). Fasteners on the uniform should not be visible. Uniform is to be pressed and free of a wrinkled appearance.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Sleeve may contain one seam on the inner arm.

Hat and Tunic Collar Insignia Insignia is one of the following: an iron on applique material, embroidered, a cloth patch, paint, or a pin. If a pin is used, it should be fastened flush to the collar. Hat and collar insignia must match an on screen configuration. The hat has a quarter circle shaped insignia present on the hat and matches the color of the collar insignia. The tunic collar has either gold chevrons or silver triangles that match the color of the hat insignia.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Rank Insignia must have very thin and flat appearance.

Jodhpur Trousers Fabric is a medium weight suiting material exactly matching the tunic. Trousers are flared riding breeches, with semi-stiff flares to the hip/thigh area. Breeches are worn with boots. Breeches are neatly pressed or ironed without creases. The flares on the jodhpurs mimic the shape of Rebels officer’s flares. Pockets are acceptable, although must not be visible with the tunic on.

Officer Boots Knee-high, black, riding style, lace-less, smooth non-textured, leather or leather-like material. Boots have conservative heels. A single stretch panel or zipper may be present, they are to be hidden on the inner part of the boot shaft. Not visible from the front, side or back. The top of the boots may be flat or Spanish style, but not Cowboy or Super Hero (pointed at the front) style. A small V-shaped notch may be present on the back of the boots top. Boots may have a top adjustment strap on the outside of the boots with a flap attached to the rear seam of the boots. Buckle is attached to the front of the rear flap. Boots may have a zipper.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Boots have a flat top, not Spanish style. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Boots are made of leather. Not vinyl or PVC. Exact replicas of English riding (dress) boots or Equestrian boots.

Rank Bar Worn on the left side of the tunic over the heart. Rank consists of colored plastic tiles mounted on metal or metal looking bar. Each bar is approximately 1" (25.4 mm) height. Top bar has a small radius on the top right and left corner. Bottom bar has a small radius on the bottom right and left corner.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Rank bar is one strip with four rounded corners NOT two separate bars as with OT rank bars; tiles are opaque.

Code Cylinders, Rebels One to four Code Cylinders are worn. Modified Silver “chalk holder” tube with a short clip and blue or red top. Cannot mix blue and red caps together. Must all be the same color. Dosimeter Style: True Dosimeter with correct clip and blue or red top is also acceptable. Clip is silver in color.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Must be Rebels style code cylinder with correct Rebels style clip and blue or red caps.

Belt The belt is constructed from a non-textured leather or a leather-like material. Approximately 2" (50.8 mm) in width, up to 3" (76.2 mm). There are no loops on the belt. A single large snap or rivet is visible to the left of the buckle, snap may be raised to a semi-conical shape. The buckle is constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material. Buckle is adorned with a Rebels Era Imperial Code Disk off centered at the top.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt does not have grooves. Belt is made of leather.

Optional Accessories Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

Belt boxes (Non-Saga style) Dimensions are approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm) wide, 3 inches (76.2 mm) tall and 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick. All boxes must be the same size. Two boxes to be worn vertically, one each on either side of the belt buckle.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt boxes are made of metal. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Boxes may have a pill shaped detail in the top and bottom.

Belt boxes (Andor style) Dimensions are approximately 1.77 inches (45 mm) wide, 2.64 inches (67 mm) tall and 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick. All boxes must be the same size. Two boxes to be worn vertically, one each on either side of the belt buckle. Belt boxes give the appearance of metal.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Corners have a “stepped 90-degree cutout” in the shape of a square on all four corners of the face of the box. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Boxes may have a pill shaped detail in the top and bottom.

Gloves Black, wrist length gloves constructed of a non-textured leather or leather-like material. Enclosed fingers. No buckles, straps, or other decoration.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Gloves extend past the wearer’s wrist several inches, covering the forearm while reaching or bending the arm.

Holster Black in color and constructed from leather or leather like material. When possible, the holster is made from same material as the belt. Holster has one belt loop, made of the same material as the holster. The holster is long enough to extend past the hem of the tunic.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The Holster is attached to the belt by a ½" (12.7 mm) metal stud.

Pistol Accurate Rebels Era Imperial Officer's Pistol.

I will say this again and it is the policy of this detachment.  A member wants to do a costume, they collect reference photos, we submit them to the LMO.  The LMO are the traffic controller for the legion determining where things go.  THEY have that authority, not me and not you.

If a DL here does not take a members request forward to the LMO, they are exceeding their authority.

@whitmers has worked with us twice before making Gideon costumes.  It is natural he would come to us.

Hi @chicken45 @buckrogersbarker, yes I think that we can use that text.
According with the visual references, the main characteristics are:
Hat Without the concentric stitches on front bill extends rebels code disk Tunic Without Princess seams on the back With a vertical seam in the middle of the back Without the dart in the front  with only one seam on inner arm for sleeves Without the circular seam Pant With smaller flares and cartoon similar Belt Has the specific buckle, the code disk goes not right in the middle. It is higher than the OT and the snap is located higher too Code cylinders Would depend on the character, but they are rebels style and with red cap Boots Ridding boots Gloves Black, short, without stitches on the back Rank bar depending on the character  here I have the hat, tunic, pants and gloves. Will  get a complete picture today, and the hat with the code disk
Thanks again for the support and help

@chicken45 @buckrogersbarker I think that in the last comment I made a mistake, because I saw the other side, sorry.

I have not seen other character without these characteristics in the hat or collar.
So, the questions would be, regarding them
1-it is a necessary or optional characteristic?, considering the other rebel uniform approved
2-this uniform would be approved as a generic or specific character uniform?
3-if I have to add them, I will do it, no problem with that, but should it be painted, with an sticker or embroidered?. And what color (white or dark grey)
happy to do the best for this costume, detachment and Legion.
    Thanks again!!

Good Morning @darthcharles @chicken45 @buckrogersbarker Thank you for your comments!!.

    I agree with your point.
However, I did not want to do that until defining if this costume will be a "generic" or an specific "(with name)" costume, considering the previous history of the rebels costume in the detachment. I am mainly talking about the previous rebels officer recently accepted which was accepted as generic with the chance of variations since severals officers are seen in  the cartoon (https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Imperial_military_officer_rebels). This is also because in Rebels there are more black officers, not only this one and considering that, my initial idea was that this could be a generic one. It is something that we have to define. What do you think about?. Thank you very much for your help!!

    Hi everyone,
I want to work on this costume, but before going ahead, i would like to get your opinion about this.
The black officer suit is seen less frequently than the Olive green in "rebels" and the main character is Brom Titus. Wanted to ask you...if this character is seen using a black suit, could we extrapolate that other officers could use the same costume. BTW, there is another character using it (picture attached), but I am asking to know if this could be a generic Rebels costume also and not only a Brom Titus one.
I know that there is a CRL written for the Olive green one, but this one does not have a lot of differences (but has some)
    The main characteristics are:
Hat Without the concentric stitches on front bill extends rebels code disk Tunic Without Princess seams on the back With a vertical seam in the middle of the back Without the dart in the front  with only one seam on inner arm for sleeves Without the circular seam Pant With smaller flares and cartoon similar Belt Has the specific buckle, the code disk goes not right in the middle. I have  some pictures that I have attached to confirm this. Do you  think that this could be make?
