I have a belt on order so wanted to make sure grooves were in it before I ordered it. From what I have seen in the screen shots, it appears there are grooves in the R1 Officer belts. Can anyone else confirm this?

In looking at the proposed CRL thread I read some contradictory things about the correct belt for level 2/3 approval.

Does the belt need to have the grooves on the top and bottom for anything beyond level 1? If so, I will need to get one with grooves in the leather.

So if I am reading the rank thread correctly for R1/Solo "staff officer", I can go with colonel, major, captain or Lt. (one row and all blue push buttons) I should be fine? No need to associate it to a face character?

I have actually decided with the help of advisor Mike and my local GML, to go with the R1/Solo version staff officer uniform accessories so it goes along better with the yet to be released new CRL.

 

I looked at the current rank for R1/Solo.  What staff officer rank can I safely be so that I could go for a level 2 or 3 approval one day? @WhiteWalker @Hask @kman

Yeah, perhaps I should go for a level 1 staff officer-black for now. After that I could go for the Solo/R1/Mando version at a higher level?

The more reading I do here and the impending CRL change, that's what I might do. I will wait until a get an advisor assigned to me.

Hi,

I currently have a build WIP thread in the "costume builds" section. I am getting confused as to what to order for accessories.

I just ordered 2 code cylinders with a brass clip and a hat code disc with a notch in it from Philo. Are these not correct now?  Should I be getting the ones with the silver clips and the disc without a notch?

I also have Sarah building me a rank bar with 4 blue and 2 Amber push buttons- Is this not correct either? Should I go with 4 blue push buttons?

I am a bit confused and would like some direction as to what to procure and maybe stop/change my purchase. (I have also requested an advisor.)
