@buckrogersbarker can you rename the title of this thread to Imperial Security Bureau Officer (Non saga), or something more in line with what we are doing here?
    Thanks!

I've added a bunch of 4K screenshots to the Gallery.  For the time being I've listed the album as "ISB Officers (White and Grey)" because the grey officer IS on Lt Dedra's assistant on staff in her office, so it's possible it's just ISB in another color.  We don't really know for sure if he's just ISB in another color, or actually in a different branch that's somehow connected to ISB, but hopefully time will tell.  I'll adjust the album names at that time, if needed.

It is now apparent that the ISB follows the same rank chart as the Security Services and does have some authority over them.

The ISB Major received reports from Lieutenants and rank was used interchangeably with their title's "Supervisor".   A single Lieutenant can be in charge of as many as 6 to 8 sectors. which is a pretty large territory.

Here's the new draft. Awaiting pictures of the trenchcoat and epaulets.

Imperial Hat, Black Hat is OPTIONAL but only if a specific referenced licensed character’s typical uniform configuration is copied in full, and does not typically include a hat. Fabric is a medium weight suiting material matching the pants and tunic if applicable. Cavalry Twill or a Gabardine style weave is most accurate. Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4 inches (101.6 mm) tall. Front and rear “flaps” overlap on the sides, with the back flap over the front, and are about 4 inches (101.6 mm) high. Front bill extends 3 inches down, decorated with 5, 6 or 7 concentric stitches. Imperial Code Disk is positioned in the center of the front vertical "flap.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Code disk has NO notch in it, on the outermost disk.

Tunic Fabric should be a medium weight, white suiting material. Tunic is double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke. Yoke comes up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam. The standing collar has square corners and is between 1.25" (31.8 mm) to 2" (50.8) tall dependent on wearers neck size Collar closes snug and includes a modesty panel behind closure. Collar edges are closed with two eye hooks. There are code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket from about half way between the top and bottom on the arm hole. Sleeves are long, and without decoration, cuffs or buttons. Sleeves contain 2 seams; one along the bottom and one along the back. Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric) Hook and eye fasteners on the uniform should not be visible.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a dart of about 2" (50.8 mm) in the top center of the yoke. There is a seam running the entire circumference of the tunic, dividing it along a line hidden by the uniform belt. The back of the tunic has princess seams that run vertically and turn outward to intersect the arm-hole seam at the vertical center. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Tunic is secured on the right side by snaps or buttons; not hook and loop fastener (Velcro). There is no top-stitching visible anywhere. A lining is sewn in.

Rank Bar See the Imperial Rank Bar page for more information. Rank consists of colored plastic tiles mounted on a single or double metal or metal looking bar(s). Worn on the left side of the tunic over the heart, aligned with the code cylinder pocket. Each bar is approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) to 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) in height. Length is determined by chosen rank. Rank tile dimensions and spacing are appropriate and proportional to the sizing of the bar to allow for even spacing from each other and the border of the bar: Rogue One/Solo rank tile dimensions are approximately 15 mm wide, 21 mm tall, and 3.2 mm deep. Original Trilogy/Mandalorian rank tile dimensions are approximately ½ inch (12.7 mm) width x ¾ inch (19 mm) height x 1⁄8 inch (3.2 mm) deep. Rank tile sizes must all be of one or the other — Not to be intermixed. Please note that final dimensions of the bar may be proportional to the wearer. Rank bar corners are a hard 90 degree angle, or slightly rounded. Rank tiles are translucent, rectangular, positioned side by side in a vertical orientation, and evenly spaced. No amber/yellow tiles are present for ISB agents. Color, quantity, and combinations of the tiles/bars are determined by rank and are appropriate to uniform type/color as supported by licensed reference.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Rank consists of colored plastic push buttons (with white to off white insert) mounted on a metal bar. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Chosen rank to match a specific officer seen onscreen or other licensed media.

Code Cylinders 2 per costume may be worn one in each pocket Modified: silver "chalk holder" tube with short clip, top is colored Blue. Dosimeter style: True Dosimeter with correct clip and Blue top. Ysanne Isard, Code Cylinders are not required.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Only real or replica dosimeters are used. Dosimeters have a silver, non-brass, clip

A single large snap or rivet is visible approximately 1" (25.4 mm) from the buckle. The belt may be worn with the snap to the right or left of the wearer. The buckle is constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material. The buckle size is approximately 2 ⅛" (66.7 mm) high and 4 ⅛" (104.5 mm) wide with 0.5" (12.7 mm) radius rounded corners. Buckle is adorned with an Imperial Code Disk at the center. Please refer to the Imperial Buckle reference page for information on accurate and inaccurate style buckles.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt boxes are made of metal.

Pockets are acceptable, although must not be visible with the tunic on.

The trenchcoat is not in there yet cause I don't have any pictures. I'm also waiting on a photoshop edit for the epaulets.

The Imperial Military Department of Advanced Weapons Research (AWR) is one of the ten branches of the ISB (The ISB is then a sub-group of COMPNOR). That's why Krennic wears the black and white uniform. He just takes some liberties with the boots, trousers and the cape (Mainly because he's so insecure )
The old intelligence agencies were merged into the Ubiqtorate which falls under Imperial Intelligence.

It's a strange relationship with a lot of rivalry between I.I and I.S.B , but they still play nice (ISB gets to use II Deathtroopers etc.).

    Hi everyone

Im currently already working on a non saga officer, for my next 501st costume, but after seeing the new Andor teaser, its got me really interested in also making an ISB uniform.
I have a quick question about this, as with the current "version 3" ISB costume from Rogue One, gloves are not an optional accesory, and I just wanted to ask if these photos from both the Andor trailer and prodcution shots, may shed any new light on this?
Im only guessing here, but they appear to be wearing the same style uniform as the RO isb, with the code cylinders etc.  the tunics look white, again same as the RO version, but could be a trick of camera light.
there does seem to be some new rank bars as well , but only one variant, (5 blue squares) is clearly visable so far .

any advice on this would be great, as I'd would be interested in making this costume.

    Thanks everyone,

Could be right, I had forgotton that military intelligence had a similar uniform.
Will definitely be interesting to see them when the series is released.
Looks like they are sticking with the new "white" fabric that they used for Krennic and R1 ISB. Rather than the Cream from ANH.

worst case is if it does turn out they are intelligence and not ISB, we can still use these photos to help with the CRL.
