So since I am not at Celebration (jealous of you all but since I am on the other side of the world, its tricky to get there) I did the alterations as agreed. I have changed nothing else except the seams on the back. Here are my new photos.

So the tunic is just about altered and ready to go. I am planning to take photos in the next few days but I just wanted to check, do I need to submit the photos and CRL here or elsewhere? Its been so long since my first attempt and given I never got formal rejection the first time, I am not sure I went about it the right way.

As I understand it, @Imperialrebel is modifying her tunic's back to incorporate this updated information, at which point we will collect final images and prepare this CRL for submission to the LMOs.
Looking forward to finally getting this one out the door!
I am. Hopefully will get it done and get photos as soon as I get a couple of days break from work.

Interestingly enough, the same people have just approved a crl for the Sith eternal engineer over in the gunners detachment.
Absolute sham this whole thing is. Will be making further complaints for sure. Wasteful gate keeping tactics, and for what?I saw that. That is the exact reason I jumped on here today after so long being silent. Oh well. If the 501st doesn't want me or my costume, thats not my problem. I know the quality of my work and I will continue to hold my head up. Its just a shame that a whole heap of people who love this costume are being told there is no hope and are being put off by the drama.

Are we still in an absolute deadlock on this one? Thought I’d ask as I’ve been reading some more heated discussions re: crl creations and it got me thinking back to this one.
Bascially for want of a nail (or more specifically the lower 30 cm of the back of the tunic. I have no idea where this blanket 'missing the back' thing has come from that everyone keeps talking about. We have shots of the top part of the back from movie stills. We can see the seam across the shoulders) this is dead in the water.

So here is my attempt at a CRL based on my costume. I tried to take the measurements out of it for the most part (Exept the belt buckle since mine was a re-purposed Imperial Buckle and matched the dementions on that CRL) Please let me know if I am on the right track.
Sith Eternal Officer CRL

That's the right idea. We'll probably have to tweak it a bit, especially as far as measurements and such are concerned. (Too many numbers and GMLs start pulling out rulers and denying people over 1/8") But it's a start!
Awesome. I will get started writing up the other pieces and we can tweek them as we go
-
Based on other Officer CRLs I read up on, I did a bit of a mock up for the Sith hat. Please let me know if I am on the right track here. (This is just based off my measurements and materials) If it works, I will start on the rest.
Hat, Sith Officer, Black
-
The front brim is a black leather-like material. It is curved and does not obscure the wearer's eyes.
-
Fabric of the crown is a ribbed black pleather which runs horizontal along the crown
-
Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4" (101.6 mm) tall.
-
Front and rear ‘flaps’ are of a black medium weight suiting material matching the pants and tunic.
-
Front and rear "flaps" overlap on the sides.
-
Front flap is about 4.5” (114.3 mm) The flap is vertical with a tilt outwards around the sides of the hat.
-
Rear flap is about 4" (101.6 mm) The flap is vertical with a tilt outwards around the sides and back.
-
Sith Code Disk is positioned at the center of the front vertical flap.

Yup, you definitely want the belt to cover that horizontal seam.
Looks fantastic, though! I'm going to get our CRL going over the wording as soon as possible.
I've already started going through my costume and trying to word it right for a CRL, if you would like me to post it here?
-
So, I made a new hat with a slightly shorter brim and put everything together.
I will need to tighten the belt but other than that, I think I am done
I am so please with how this came out.
-
-
So, did my first ever attempt at making a hat. Its not perfect but since a pattern does not yet exist and I basically eyeballed it all (plus, working with four different materials. please don't get me started on the brim. Heavy duty leatherette is the devil) not a bad first attempt. Still needs some cleanup.
Once I perfect this, I think I am ready to attempt to submit it Unless there is any little thing I am missing? This is the rest of the costume.

I absolutely cannot wait to see the finished product. This uniform is just awesome in every way, and WILL be my second build once I get my Line Officer set and ready all the way to L3.
I'm curious, though: How did you achieve the ribbing in the belt?
For mine, I bought and cut down a sheet of ribbbed matting black rubber. I then used a thick nylon on the back to reinforce it. It took three goes, a very sharp knife and a metal ruler to cut the rubber straight but it worked.
I am Australian so I bought the sheet from a place called 'Clark Rubber'.
-
And another update. I fixed up the rank band so now it should be correct. Finally bit the bullet and attempted to make a silver badge and finally got my belt and hat badge. Now just need to finish making the hat and I think I am almost ready.

The more I look at your build and the dictionary image, I'm wondering if the lower part of the tunic needs to be another inch or three longer.
It could be the belt needs to be worn higher, but that lower looks short.
Also, the triangle yoke thing seems to meet at the shoulder a little different. I can't quite describe it, but still something is off there too.
I have been taking the photos from a lower angle which I think may affeact the perception a little but yes, the belt is a stand in and doesn't sit where I want it. Hopefully it will look a bit more accuract now that I got the proper belt

Here's a little something to help you along. Glorious 4K!
lantern2745, great picture!
I have given it a go. Not sure about the belt in general but hopefully it is ok. I am still waiting to get the Sith Logo for the buckle and hopefully that will work
I am amazed at how many tiny details there are in this costume. Speaking of, do you happen to have a close up of the rank band? I did a mockup using ones I saw on FO officers but from what I can tell, the Aurabesh is different for these ones and I cannot find a clear picture (and am clearly a novice in Aurabesh) I have no idea what will be on the correct band. Thank you for all your help and support.

Ask and you shell recieve
Still need to get the right belt buckle and gloves, secure the rank sleeve and make the hat and the jacket badge but I feel like I am on the home stretch now. The Shark Pants are so derpy and I love them! (And yes, I am aware there is no neck seal in this picture. I forgot to put it on for the pic and now I can't be bothered retaking it)

So update. Looks like we have finally figured out the hat. My guess of normal Imperial style with the neck seal style ribbing for the main body, as shown in the concept sketch looks correct. The front 'flap' looks a bit longer than a normal one, from my guess but the basics is the same. The visor looks kinda plastic instead of fabric.
Sorry for the bad quality pics. I don't have the digital copy and my laptop doesn't had a disc player so this was taken off my TV.
Also of note, it looks like the back of the jacket has a yoke or seam at the middle of the sleeves, across the back. Sadly we didn't see this prior to making my jacket but hopefully should be an easy fix. This is the only picture I could find showing the back and its not great quality so it may be a trick of the light (only saw it for about .03 of a second) unless anyone has a better picture. I have now ordered the boots and a friend is 3D printing the Sith Logos so hopefully will be done soon.

The boots are the new style FO Boots with straps and buckles
I thought so. Are there any recommended sellers out there? I have been talking to CrowProps but they are closed due to the Pandemic and Imperial Boots isn't currently making them.
Failing that, any recommendations for good base boots which I can alter?
-
And we are starting the trial run and fitting on the pants, code name "Dumbest Pants in the Galaxy" but which I am now calling "Shark Pants"
These are insane and fun.
Will still need to figure out the boots (I think they are the same as the First Order officer boots but I can't find a reliable source for them right now) and obviously the hat.
-
So did a quick costest today. Still need to put the rank band and badge on the jacket, need to get a Sith Logo printed for the belt, get a proper set of gloves and the pants and boots are stand ins for the actual ones which will be coming soon. Oh, and figure out the hat.
Still, really pleased with how its coming along. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Sith Eternal Officer
in New CRLs - Completed

So, I'm guessing there is no further news on the CRL? Just curious.
