Hello! As soon as I saw this, I figured this is one I'd want to do eventually! I believe they would be Senate Security Officers.
I've gathered some references here for if anyone wants to use them. It's unfortunate because a lot of the shots were focused on the main characters so most of the shots that they do appear in are blurry. But as I imagine more information and BTS shots/photos come to light, it will help clear things up!

The blaster is admittedly been pretty hard to find a direct reference for. None of the Senate Security took it out of their holsters except the one guy who threw his to the ground and he was in the background and out of focus so I can't tell what blaster it is.

Congrats and welcome!
The Imperial Caf cup is always a must have! 😎 -
Hey Joel! Congrats on getting scanning crew approved!
I think we might have meet last December at the Garrison Carowinds Winterfest meet up!
Hopefully I'll get a chance to troop with ya soon!

The Separatist Commander (officer) looks like a great fit for the IOC, but without any official references of the back, that's still not going to make it past the LMOs. We can request it in advance, however, so if better references turn up at some point, it's already determined to place with us.
Yeah, no back references will put a damper in things for sure
Even going through a Youtube Video of the source book to see if it appeared anywhere else in the book and that front shot seems to be the only art of it from what I saw -
Welcome to the IOC! Congrats on Approval!

Hello! Did a little digging out of curiosity and found some stuff.
The art of the CIS Officer pictured above is from an official art source, not fan art.
It came from the Fantasy Flight Games Collapse of the Republic sourcebook for Star Wars Roleplaying.
However, the second picture of the Givin Separatist Officer (The ghost looking one) is in fact a fan art/photoshop edit.
As claimed by reddit user in this post here who posted it claiming to take inspiration from the sourcebook.
As for the CIS Scientist from Andor, someone in the Underworld Detachment has a build thread going there but I'm not sure if its been placed in that detachment. Looking over it, there was some uncertainty for the character at the time but some new information has come about that might clear it for being able to be in the 501st.

I see as well that @OfficerBlakley had started some work on a Sergeant Waylin CRL. Which is not the same character you're talking about @Detaleader but probably shares elements since they were of the same game!
@OfficerBlakley do you have any updates on what you were working on?

Good costume, but it looks more like the game just reused existing elements and called it a crewman.
I'm also surprised to hear games are considered canon, especially on a 501st level. I've played a lot of SW games since the early '90s and they simply don't show the same dedication to accurate costuming that we do.
(And don't even start me on the comics.)
Video games are allowed as references in the 501st!
There are plenty of characters that only ever appear in the video games and have costumes in the 501st!
Starkiller and several diffrent troopers from the Force Unleased Video Games and several Clones variants from the Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) game come to mind of approved costumes that exist in the legion. Doesn't exactly matter if it's cannon or not!

There are also the Prison Technicians and the Prison Commander (although they both wear the same costume, just no hat on the commander) in the sort of slate blue jumpsuits, otherwise pretty much the same as the Guards and Wardens: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Unidentified_Narkina_5_prison_commander
Wanted to share clear side shot here of the Prison Commander from the Trivia Gallery. I don't recognize the compad style, is it new?

Good news! I have a pair of what seem to be ultra rare Burton boots, in the correct color, in my size. Found them on eBay. This was the only time I've seen them in that color, and the only example I've found out in the world currently.
I also got the additional straps and pads.
I'll post up photos.
Super lucky indeed!

Or at least it will be impossible in my case where I live in an area that gets snow for a couple days maybe once every two years. So not many ski shops around unlike up north

I'm running out the door, but off the top of my head: I seem to recall we did see both, right? Or did they ALL wear the ski boots? I haven't had coffee yet so the brain isn't up and running just now. LOL
But we would probably (normally) build the CRL with the most common configuration... assuming we can find someone who actually has the costume set up that way. But then make Jack boots an optional variant.
Correct, they are seen wearing both. The guard that escorts them off the transport is wearing jackboots and is the only one who wore jackboots that I remember.
The rest of the guards in the prison are seen wearing the ski boots.
I personally think that it's going to be basically impossible to find the exact ski boot used. Because while the exact boot has been correctly identified, it was made by one company and has been discontinued since 2022.

The "Temp" in the filename/path was an error by the LMO office, which manages these things. They were supposed to rename it before the published it and made it live, and forgot. And now it shall live on in infamy forever... (or break every link back to it on the internet)
Yeah, I didn't think about how changing it would mess up other links. But makes sense, like I said, not really the biggest deal. We are only human so mistakes happen.
But I promised someone I would ask so I followed through on that

Damn, looks awesome.
Hopefully I can start trooping in March already. Had to postphone my project. (Renovate and fixing my car and apartment)
Oh these were long before I joined the 501st. I attended as a child, and Star Wars Weekends were a thing they did at Disney World in the summer. But they stopped doing them a while ago.
But hopefully you're able to finish your outfits soon and can get to trooping!

Came across some old pictures of when I attended Star Wars Celebration V in 2010 and Star Wars Weekends in 2014 and have been sharing them around to the diffrent detachments of characters that fit the detachment that I have pictures of
Only IOC I found were (the half of) a Navy Officer and Staff Officer
From Star Wars Weekends 2014
From Star Wars Celebration V 2010

Hey there! I think this is the right place to bring this up, if not I apologize.
So one of the members in my garrison was asking about the Imperial Security Officer (Non-Saga) and it was pointed out name differences that confused them.
The link URL, from the listing of all the IOC CRLs, calls the Imperial Security Officer (Non-Saga) a Staff Officer "Temp-Imperial-Staff-Officer_(Non_Saga)#Version One" while the name of the actual CRL is "Imperial Security Officer (Non-Saga)". This confused them between that and the OT Staff Officer.
(Hope I am making sense?)
Also, it has "Temp" in the name, which I imagine shouldn't be left in the final published link?
Obviously not the biggest deal, I know CRL's are continually changing and being worked on and such, so I imagine that it was either left in their by mistake or work is being done on it. But for those who aren't super familiar with the costumes, like the member was, it can be kind of confusing about what it actually is.
I thought I'd bring this to someone's attention if it isn't already known.

So, I actually have one better than an extra!
Jonathan Wallace the Hand Props and Weapons Supervisor for Andor responded to my post on a public Facebook page for Rouge One and Andor and confirmed that the blaster is a Merr-Sonn Power 5!
(Also deleting the speculative part of my original comment since it has now been confirmed as a diffrent blaster)
