Gah!  $100 is more than I'm willing to part with for one.
 
The cruises sound fun, but my wife gets seasick if she just looks at a boat (and believe me we've tried all the drugs), so such activities are not likely ever in my future...
 
I have friends who do a lot of Disney cruises, though... I may need to reach out to some of them.  Meanwhile, if you take another cruise, let me know?

Oh cool! I didn't realize they were from Solo too! And you're right, that would cool if they were silver.
And they do sell them elsewhere besides the Galactic Star Cruiser! They sell them on the Disney Wish Cruise ship at the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge! That's where I got mine. The Star Cruiser one has writing on it and the one from the Disney Wish doesn't.

I personally don't know any other boot sellers for this costume specifically, however I do own a pair of Jackboots from KeepTrooping (Formally Imperial Boots) and they work very well for me!

Some other garrison mates got together and worked with a theatre for an unofficial troop, unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend but I did see a later showing in costume! Wasn’t a troop, but felt the AT-ST was right for the occasion

 
Also on a separate event that kinda counts, back in March the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra was showing ROTJ and playing the music along with it! That was a trooping event we were able to attend!

Looks pretty good in my opinion, what do ya'll think?

A real-world wine goblet has a stem smaller than the bowl, but the base width is about equal to the bowl. Keeping it from falling over. This Star Wars goblet with no base other than the stem looks like it prone to tipping over when filling the bowl. Unless that stem is very heavy. Maybe I'm just thinking like a cat owner. Who looks at the world from the eyes of I bet my cat would knock that right over.

Just wanted to give a hearty three cheers and wish everyone a Happy Empire Day!

For the rubber sole, I was planning on using a Plastidip-type product. Mask off the area, spray. I haven't looked into whether an orange exists. 

The toe has some added detail which I might try in foam clay or foam. 

For fabric/leather painting, I like Angelus paints. They are acrylic, and as Natalie @JynInDisguise said, you can use other acrylics, but Angelus has it figured out and I've had great results with that product. I painted my AT-AT boots with Angelus. 

Fabric painting is fairly simple. You can use acrylic paint (cheap) as long as you add the correct medium to it. 

I've been surprised they haven't shown up anywhere in a web search, and none on eBay. That's uncommon for contemporary found parts. The production bought all the remaining stock! 

The same model is available in different colors. I've had luck painting fabric so that's likely the route I'll take if necessary. Would love to find the correct color though. Good luck!

I may attempt to make a pair of electro boots despite the Burton Moto BOA not being available anywhere in the gray/red (orange) colourway. 

The orange sole was "extended" with black ribbed padding added. A vamp strap was added.

The compression straps were Nitro brand ankle straps (pads), ladder straps, and Nitro Raiden ankle connector straps. Haven't figured out the connection at the rear yet.  

If I actually piece anything together, I'll post.

I've the helmet files, for both Do3d and Chamanleon and his are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
 
I had the do3d armor for my first gideon, but it needed mods and they never updated the file.
 
 
d03d doesn't have the finalized file, but it'll probably get you there with some notable mods and finishing work to get accurate. I'll be keeping my eye on it.

IOC Staff just had a discussion about the name, since this one seems to be gaining some interest.
 
We checked the credits and subtitles, and there are references to both Guards (of various types... Box Guard, Console Guard, Delivery Guard, etc) and an "Intake Warden", but the uniforms don't seem to be any different.  So these are all Prison Guards, of various types.
 
Thing is, we have seen other prisons and detention centers before (Wobani, the plant prison they broke Jyn Erso out of, for instance), and they did not have these specialized uniforms, just standard uniforms we already have (navy troopers, security officers, etc.)  So these are somewhat unique.

Under the circumstances, we are leaning towards naming this costume "Narkina 5 Prison Guard" because it is, so far, unique to this particular factory prison.  Should we see other similar (but different?) Prison Guards in the future, we can rename the costume to just "Imperial Prison Guard" and add tabs for the CRL variations, if needed.
 
I'm going to rename this thread to reflect the updated costume name.
