Not sure if these are quarlified for CRL photo. If higher resolution is required, I'll need to find a studio to help me take the shot.

    Hello all!

So, I have been trying to track down an equivalent to this case, they seem to be rare and expensive (2 horrible words in the hobby). Has anyone gotten any leads on a briefcase, they seem to be everywhere in Andor.

Maybe is because of the light but looks a bit dark… I would say the attendant is a bit lighter in color (according Crl)

Got the approval for this costume so if I can help you, just let me know

There are a few subtle but noticeable differences in the Andor tunics when compared to others, and specific differences in tailoring to Meero’s tunic, such as higher cylinder pockets (whose tops draw a straight, level line across the tunic towards each other), a longer neck seam/dart, higher collar, and a more pronounced V-shape to the tunic placard, tapering more inward down to the belt and outward below it.  Meero’s tunic is also a bit shorter than the rest.

The color is a whole other issue. I have heard the argument that they are using filters and different lighting and that is making the blue-ish gray hues on her tunic, but if you compare it to the apparently white color of the seat backs in the above pic…
BUT…would you want to try and duplicate this color, only to look quite different to other ISB officers that you might be standing next to at a troop?

It's fantastic to see that there is a new realistic Canon female Imperial officer character,  for that reason alone she should have a seperate CRL named ISB Supervisor Dedra Meero, as it really is a specific character with specific hairstyle and there are so many subtle differences in comparison to the other ISB Supervisors.
The IOC would be doing it's members a disservice for not giving her a separate crl as there is finally a female character that's added to the roster of approvable costumes.

I am at work now but when researching last weeks into these officers I also noticed that there is some slight differences on her coat aswell, or that there is at least a male and female version of the coat with the female version looking much more tailored and the length appears to be different aswell.

That fabric looks a little more silver and a bit lighter than ideal, if I'm being honest, but it's in the right ballpark.  Accurate greys are going to be the death of us LOL  It's almost has varied as feldgrau.

Stealing an image from another thread:

Note the variation in lightness just based on lighting... the guys on the left side, near the wall, with less direct light, look WAY darker than Heert (next to Meero), more in the middle of the corridor and under the main lights.  That being said, I think the guys on the left are closer to the correct shade: A bit darker, when the lighting isn't blowing it out.

It can’t be removed unless you sand the whole thing and repaint it. It is etched.   I just masked off the area around it and painted it black.  It’s good enough for my eye and at a distance it will be unnoticed.
If this is indeed the cup, I wonder how the prop folks covered up the coffee etch.

Note the indentation on the side of the cup.  I believe this cup has two indentations, one on each side. There are other cups on Amazon that have 4 indentations. Judging from this photo, I believe there are only 2. In the Andor trailer, if the cup had 4 indentations, you would be able to see at least two in based on the angle shown.

Interesting how differently-tailored those two trenchcoats are, given the different people wearing ostensibly the same "model" of coat.  Very noticeable in those last two shots.

Meero's trenchcoat's front lapels start nearly at her neck, actually just above the tunic's collar, and have a small swept-back collar.

Partagaz' lapels, on the other hand, start several inches lower on his chest, about an inch above his rank badge, and have a much larger collar that extends horizontally or even slightly forward, not swept back at all.

    PLOT TWIST:

    WE HAVE A TRENCH COAT!
    Here is the updated text:

Trenchcoat Made of a medium-weight waterproof fabric that is light khaki in color. Two flares at the breast overlap and close in the front, right breast over left. The collar continues around the neck and is approximately 3.5 inches wide. A real, or decorative pocket is present on the left breast. A seam runs down the arm on the outside, it begins at the costumer's collar. Two inch long cuffed sleeves with a single button towards the end of the cuff. The cuff "strap" ends in a chevron shape. <---edit I am removing this On the back the storm shield has a pinch pleat at the top center of the shoulders. The coat ends mid-calf and is straight cut along the bottom edge. The coat below the belt has a split seam in the back. The right side of the coat squares off below the belt and angles outwards. Two vertical pockets appear at the costumer's hip. Pockets are vertical and covered with a chevron shaped flap. The coat below the belt has a split seam in the back. The coat is worn with a belt. Two belt boxes are worn unless a holster is present.

Dedra Meero Model ID 18079, Photo by Dominik Wilhelm   Visit the [[{{{5}}}|Gallery for this Costume]] for more models and parts views.
    Description: Dedra Meero
    Prefix: ID
    Detachment: Imperial Officer Corps
    Context: Andor
Methodical, polished, and ambitious, Dedra Meero embodies the ideals of the Imperial Security Bureau. She is ever vigilant, collecting and analyzing intelligence from across the galaxy to identify possible signs of disorder. Her ingenuity serves her well, climbing the ranks by piecing together a clear picture of rebel activity from disparate parts.

For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.
The Imperial Officer Corp Detachment defines additional, optional levels of costuming excellence. In the page below, items listed in blue are optional features that will improve the quality of the costume. Items listed in red are intended to further enhance the finished costume. Please visit the Detachment website for more specific details.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type.
This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum. GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum. Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval. Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size. Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GMLs and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

Hair Style Hair is blonde; achieved via natural hair color or a naturally styled wig. Worn in a tight bun, and hair is parted on the left side.

Imperial Hat, Black Hat is OPTIONAL but only if a specific referenced licensed character’s typical uniform configuration is copied in full, and does not typically include a hat. Fabric is a medium weight suiting material matching the pants and tunic if applicable. Cavalry Twill or a Gabardine style weave is most accurate. Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4 inches (101.6 mm) tall. Front and rear “flaps” overlap on the sides, with the back flap over the front, and are about 4 inches (101.6 mm) high. Front bill extends 3 inches (76.2 mm) down, decorated with five (5), six (6) or seven (7) concentric stitches. Imperial Code Disk is positioned in the center of the front vertical flap.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Code disk has NO notch in the outermost disk.

Tunic Fabric should be a medium weight, white suiting material. Tunic is double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke. Yoke comes up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam. The standing collar has square corners and is between 1.25 inches (31.8 mm) to 2 inches (50.8 mm) tall dependent on wearer’s neck size. Collar closes snug. Modesty panel is OPTIONAL. Collar edges are closed with two (2) eye hooks. There are code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket from about halfway between the top and bottom on the arm hole. Sleeves are long, and without decoration, cuffs, or buttons. Sleeves contain 2 seams; one along the bottom and one along the back. Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric). Hook and eye fasteners on the uniform should not be visible. Optional: Up to two (2) hooks may be added through the sides of the tunic to hold belt in place. Hooks must be black.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a dart of about 2 inches (50.8 mm) in the top center of the yoke. There is a seam running the entire circumference of the tunic, dividing it along a line hidden by the uniform belt. The back of the tunic has princess seams that run vertically and turn outward to intersect the arm-hole seam at the vertical center. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Tunic is secured on the right side by snaps, hook, & bar, buttons, or unseen magnets; not hook and loop fastener (Velcro). A lining is sewn in.

Rank Bar Rank consists of colored plastic tiles mounted on a single or double metal or metal looking bar(s). Worn on the left side of the tunic over the heart, aligned with the code cylinder pocket. Each bar is approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) to 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) in height. Rank bar has only three blue tiles. Length is determined by chosen rank. Rank tile dimensions and spacing are appropriate and proportional to the sizing of the bar to allow for even spacing from each other and the border of the bar: Rogue One/Solo style rank tile dimensions are approximately 0.59 inches (15 mm) wide, 0.82 inches (21 mm) tall, and 0.12 inches (3.2 mm) deep. Original Trilogy/Mandalorian style rank tile dimensions are approximately 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) wide, 0.75 inch (19 mm) tall, and 0.125 inch (3.2 mm) deep. Rank tile sizes must all be of the same style and are not to be intermixed. Please note that final dimensions of the bar may be proportional to the wearer. Rank bar corners are a hard 90 degree angle, or slightly rounded. Rank tiles are translucent, rectangular, positioned side by side in a vertical orientation, and evenly spaced. Color, quantity, and combinations of the tiles/bars are determined by rank and are appropriate to uniform type/color as supported by licensed reference.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Rank consists of colored plastic push buttons (with white to off white insert) mounted on a metal bar. Rank tiles are the Rogue One/Solo larger size, approximately 0.59 inches (15 mm) wide, 0.82 inches (21 mm) tall, and 0.12 inches (3.2 mm) deep.

    Code Cylinders Two Code Cylinders are worn. Dosimeter style with correct silver clip (no brass) and blue top.}
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Only real or replica dosimeters are used.

Belt The belt is constructed from a black, non-textured, leather, or a leather-like material. Approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm) in width, up to 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) is acceptable. There are no loops on the belt. A single large snap or rivet is visible approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) from the buckle. The belt may be worn with the snap to the right or left of the buckle. It is preferred to wear the snap to the left of the wearer, unless emulating a specific licensed character. The buckle is constructed from a horizontally brushed metal, or metal looking material. The buckle size is approximately 2.6250 inches (66.7 mm) high and 4.1250 inches (104.5 mm) wide with 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) radius rounded corners. Buckle is adorned with an un-notched Imperial Code Disk at the center. Please refer to the Imperial Buckle reference page for information on accurate and inaccurate style buckles.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt is made of leather. Belt has a groove at the top and bottom edge along the length of the belt. Buckle has a slight horizontal curve.

Jodhpur Trousers, Black Fabric is a medium weight suiting material matching the tunic. Cavalry Twill or a Gabardine style weave is most accurate. Trousers are flared riding breeches, with semi-stiff flares to the hip/thigh area. Breeches are worn with boots. Breeches are neatly pressed or ironed without creases. Pockets are acceptable, although must not be visible with the tunic on.

Boots Knee-high, black, riding style, lace-less, smooth non-textured, leather or leather-like material. There are no buckles, snap tabs or decoration. Boots have conservative heels. A single stretch panel or zipper may be present, they are to be hidden on the inner part of the boot shaft. Not visible from the front, side or back. The top of the boots may be flat or Spanish Style, but not Cowboy or Super Hero (pointed at the front) style.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Boots are made of leather and have no zippers. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Original German marching boots or authentic replication. Boots have a top adjustment strap on the outside of the boots. Boots to have a flat top. The straps are set slightly to the rear with the tabs facing the rear.

Optional Accessories Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

Belt boxes (Non-Saga style) Dimensions are approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm) wide, 3 inches (76.2 mm) tall and 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick. Two boxes to be worn vertically, one each on either side of the belt buckle.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Belt boxes are made of metal or cast resin. If resin, corners have a “stepped 90-degree cutout” in the shape of a square on all four corners of the face of the box.

Gloves Black, wrist length gloves constructed of a smooth, non-textured leather or leather-like material. Enclosed fingers. No buckles, straps, etc.

The center where the two halves meet gives the appearance of aluminum. A silver greeblie that gives the appearance of being made of aluminum is present on the lower left side.

MerrSonn Power5 Blaster Scratch built or high-end prop replica based on a Mauser C96, M712, or M617. The wire on the top is straight, not coiled. The ribs of the cooling module are black with very heavy silver weathering to the point where it looks almost all silver.

Merr Sonn Power5 Holster Holster is black in color. Outer circumference of holster is curved around the basic shape of the blaster. Holster has a form-fitting contour around the blaster itself, with a cutout for "cooling module" . Holster has one belt loop that is integrated into the holster body.
