I know WampaWear was working on one, but still...this is not in the CRL yet because no one has made one and submitted it to us.
-
Circling back around to this. @KGriffen has been working on a Sloan. Looks like it is nearly completed.
I would recommend making this the same as Live Action Thrawn, but without all the repairs.
I think the bits mentioned earlier about the tunic being longer, and separated are things we should stay away from. It's one of those idiosyncrasies of being drawn with artistic liberty.
I want this to be a CRL, and hope this leads to a generic grand admiral CRL.
-
Sounds good! Can't wait to see it!
-
This is done!

The short answer to this question is “ask your GML.”
I think the detail in question is probably something to note on a L3.
Do we know for sure if it’s on both sides ? -
We are ready to run with this!

Hello Guys
I‘ll see my tailor at February 1st. to discuss how we proceed.
Would it be possible to receive your feedback until then?
That would be very helpful.
Thank you
Cedric, you look good to go. Your judgement here is better than anyone else's in the world. I agree that there must be concessions with animated things translating into real life, and that you need to vit the uniform to your body.
Do what you think is best. I am good with either.

This is live!!!
Thanks and great job!!

Updated with LMO changes.
They had me clean up, and tighten some of the language (which weas very helpful) and found some things like "visible closures" which would absolutely be visible on a uniform torn to shreds.
The only "big" outstanding things are the boots, the gloves, and the hat.
The gist of it was explaining to them our OPTIONAL hat language. There's zombie officers seen with and without hats, (same with gloves!), and we want people to wear what they want without making it complicated (you can only NOT wear a hat IF you have don't wear gloves AND have zombie hands AND ripped sleeves with exposed flesh). Officers are infinitely configurable when they are NOT zombies, so writing a CRL that is super restrictive and complicated is now what we want to do.
The boots from the video game have the black dye weathered completely off which makes them look brown. The applicant's boots have that sanded off, but have a rubber grip sole. I am trying to reconcile with with the LMO team to get a path forward. I understand in the applicant's first submission, the boots were not "two toned".
Stand by, @soodohej

Are we settling on one color for this? The screen caps are gray, an earlier CRL draft said tan. I've been trying to find either of those colors but all the vendors I've seen have either olive or black (and "heavily distressing" the black Security Officer uniform would be no easy task).
I left that purposefully vague.
Thinking logically, I know the only gray uniforms are ISB attendants, and these are not ISB attendants. It's clear to me that "gray" from the screen caps likely is trying to capture feldgrau.
That being said...I've gotten bleach on black clothing before and it has a very dramatic effect:
There's shades of tan and red in there that look great on the undead.

It looks good - the only reason some « details » were included at basic level was based on the feedback that LC would only allow something that was exactly as the screenshots from the game … but I’m in total agreement this should be primarily fun and need to be flexible enough… my only comment is for the boots - there should not be any kind of top buckle etc… it’s obvious on the screenshot that these do not exist and they typically do not appear on officer boots - except for some ISB in Andor
We will try to advocate for those basic things with the LMO office.
I like to reuse "standard" items whenever possible. Usually we don't get too into the weeds with boots. Ideally, I would like to see the boots able to be used with a different costume (so someone doesn't have to go out and buy another pair of $300 boots) which is why I copied the non saga boot stuff. I cannot remember correctly (ask @kman) but I think the "buckle & strap" riding boots have been used since R1.
That being said, it probably shouldn't a L3 thing for this. What do you think about changing the language to:
-
There are no buckles, snap tabs, or decoration.
- A top adjustment strap may be present.
OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable):
- Boots do not have a top adjustment strap on the outside of the boots.
-
There are no buckles, snap tabs, or decoration.

I’ve been wondering about using some of the “discount” Officer uniforms for this, since I doubt anyone would want to use their $300 Denuo Novo tunic and just trash it. As you said, this should be fun.
Yeah, and who knows...maybe there was a cleaning mishap with one of those ANovos tunics and it got bleached and the owners can't find a replacement.
Sure beats tossing it in the trash!

Ok! Big update! Sorry for the delay.
I moved some things around to L2 and L3, where I thought it was appropriate.
For example, two tone boot outsoles are not a basic requirement, and neither are the "no princess seams" thing for the back of the tunic (the render from the game is a basic center seam.
Part of the "value" of this costume is to use existing mass produced officer parts and make them fun. Requiring princess seams for basic approval is the opposite of fun.
I want many people to be able to do this costume and I believe that making it prohibitively restrictive, unnecessary, and is in direct opposition of everything we stand for.
Now that I am off my soapbox, here's my first draft. @soodohej let me know your thoughts!
