Anyway, if that new pattern exist, I'll suggest put it into Lv2 requirement at least, otherwise it's quite challenging for general makers.

MerrSonn Power 5 Blaster
Scratch built or high-end prop replica based on a Mauser C96, or M712 pistol. Grips shall be wood or the appearance of wood. Color tone shall be from dark brown to black. Cooling module can be black, weathered silver, or silver. Only the outside edges of the fins are silver. The rest is black (minor weathering is permitted). The wire on top can be straight or coiled. Accurate greeblies are present on both sides. Flared muzzle covers most of the barrel and is black (minor weathering is permitted). Holster certainly looks like it's softer leather than ANH and strap different as well. Think I prefer the molded one but probably makes it easier to make.

Gorn is carrying an old school MSP5 with the coiled wire, and all black cooling fins.  He has his own, and did not pick up Petigar's blaster.  (His empty holster is visible in other shots from the scene with the second pic below, too, I just chose this one because it shows the blaster clearest)
 

 

 
Kinda makes sense, since he's been stuck on a backwater planet for so many years, while Meero and Petigar both hail from Coruscant, where presumably they would have access to the more current toys.
 
Interesting catch on the reddish greeblies on Gorn's blaster, but I do not see those colors carried over to Meero's, just some slightly lighter coloring with weathering.  I don't think we've ever specified the color of the greeblies, though.  If anything, could mention that "accurate greeblies are present on both sides."
 
Both Meero and Petigar carry the new (to us) model, with a straight wire across the top and cooling fins that have all silver metal edges.  (the interior of the fins remains black, so it's not "all silver", just the edges of the fins are bare silver metal)
 

 

 

 
All other details seem to be the same, between the two types.  Same top "scope" (mic jack), same tomtit antennas, etc.  (The OG MSP5 greeblies came from Reade Models tomtit model airplane parts, also used on Han Solo's DL44 in places)  My MSP5 has the original parts on the cooling fins, and the rest are 3D printed but modeled with the original parts in hand.  I suspect their are not the original parts, but 3D printed, which give thicker fins to show the silver better.
 

 
All three are carrying them in the new style holster, however, very different style from ANH. (the only other place we've seen the MSP5 in live action)  Gorn and Petigar wear them on the left, and Meero wore hers on the right.  (outside her trench coat)
 

 
 
 

Here's my key takeaways: I believe Petigar has a "old school" Power 5. It has a coiled cable and black fins. It has a red button on the side, unlike the OT version (as far as I can tell)
 
Taramyn seems to pick up Petigar's blaster, so we can grab some additional angles with that: 

Petigar's blaster has the straight wire. Taramyn's blaster has the coil. 
 



 
The M712 Selector switch is present on this prop, it was not removed, like the Solo DL-44s.

Dedra's blaster has a magazine release button and a Valve in the bottom of the Magazine, indicating that this is also an airsoft M712, likely from WE/AW Custom

 
Now I would suggest the following: 
- I completely agree that a non-coiled cable should be optional. For the military officer, I think both are probably fine. I don't think there's much point in debating over whether one cable isn't coiled, as it'll give costumers better + more options of which blaster to pick! 
- For the Silver finned version: The first and last fin aren't silver, but black. This likely indicates that the remaining fins were painted silver, rather than the part being entirely silver. You can see this very nicely in the shot with the blaster on the floor 
- The greeblies on Dedras blaster seem to be silver/red, just as Petigar's. I just think it's more subtle on Dedra due to all the smoke/dirt in the shot. I think it's save to say that the greeblies on the right side of the blaster aren't all black. 
- Both types of blaster have two greeblies on the top. These appear to be on some DL-44 models, as well as OT Power 5s as well. I'm not sure if these should be added to the wording or if there's pre-established names for these. Looks kind of like capacitors? Pistons? No clue, somebody else probably has a better answer here! 
- Maybe add airsoft M712/replica thereof specifically as Level 2. We can see the Selector Switch + Magazine release, features that are not present on "regular" Mauser C96 models. The Valve on the bottom of the magazine also is crystal clear on the origin being an Airsoft/Airgun type replica. Real M712 Magazine plates do not have a hole with a valve in it
- I believe the blasters used specifically are WE/AW, but I think this would be too specific for a CRL and really shouldn't matter. 
- Let's delete M617 from the wording, unless other evidence comes up later as part of the discussion. Like you said, it's a carry over from the Legacy entry. I don't think we should copy a mistake from a legacy description, if we know it doesn't mean anything. 

More good news: since the R1 and Andor Ponchos are pretty close (they are both black ponchos), both R1 and Andor Ponchos are permissible with either Security or Military officers. Previously we only saw Security officers with both R1 and Andor ponchos, and we only saw the military in black Andor ponchos.  It simply makes sense to allow the R1 version since they already can wear a black poncho anyways. Close enough for plastic spacemen and great at world building.

Where did that designation come from? I've been googling and found nothing. I feel like it might be worth deleting this term, if nobody else knows what's up with it, as it may confuse people otherwise? 
 
As for ISB Power 5: Since Gorn carries one and Petigar carries one, it might be worth adding the same blaster/holster combo to the Non Saga Imperial Officer as well. 
 
I'll do some screenshot digging later to find out if 
A) Petigar's Power 5 is silver ribs
B) If it's possible to tell if it is a Schnellfeuer or a regular C96. A magazine eject button would be a big giveaway here. 

There seem to be two main variations of the Power 5 blaster: the ANH version and the Andor version. We would like to allow both for the ISB Non Saga CRL.
The differences: The ANH version has the coiled wire, while the Andor version has the straight wire. The ANH grip is seen to be brown or black, while the Andor version is black. The ANH cooling module seems to be black with heavy silver weathering, while the Andor version is actually silver. I looked outside the IOC to find precedent and I found that the FISD did something similar with the Rogue One TK. They allow ANH E-11 blasters for basic approval, but specifically state that in L2 and L3, power cylinders must not be ANH style, but R1 style.    Therefore: we propose changing the ISB Non Saga Power 5 entry as follows:
 MerrSonn Power5 Blaster Scratch built or high-end prop replica based on a Mauser C96, M712, or M617. Grip can be wood tone, from brown to black. NEW ADDITION OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The wire on the top is straight, not coiled. CHANGED FROM BLACK TEXT TO BLUE The ribs of the cooling module are black with very heavy silver weathering to the point where it looks almost all silver.  CHANGED FROM BLACK TEXT TO BLUE Grip can be black or very dark brown. NEW ADDITION   We would also like to clean up the holster language to align with other holsters better. We would update this holster entry for Dedra Meero , too. JUST the holster, mind you.   Merr Sonn Power5 Holster Holster is black in color. CHANGE TO Made of black leather or leather-like material. Outer circumference of the holster is curved around the basic shape of the blaster. Holster has a form-fitting contour around the blaster itself, CHANGE TO Holster has a cutout for the blaster's “cooling module.” Holster has one belt loop that is integrated into the holster body. It is in all of the non saga CRLs.
We put it in there to raise awareness and enshrine it.
 
But if someone has a problem with you carrying a coffee cup, good lord that person needs to get a grip.
