The fit looks good, all you need to do is have it pressed to get rid of the wrinkles and you should be good to go.

Yeah, I take a 7 1/2 and my size large Museum Reps hat has a bit of room to spare.

There are different styled gloves that can be worn, it depends on which Officer and which movie you want to go for. As far as Spanish boots go, I think that refers to the top of the boots (Spanish style are slanted at the top).

Maybe what we need is a new detachment of Imperial Enlisted Corps.
Bridge Crew, Scanning Crew, Maintenance Crew, Ground Crew, Navy Troopers, etc.
Now that's a great idea! After all, without the enlisted ranks, who are the Officers in charge of?

My opinion for what it's worth, those boots may look good while you're riding a horse, but they probably aren't good for Trooping for long periods. Plus, all the ones I've seen look just like what they are: Rubber Boots. If you're going to portray an Officer of the Empire, you need to look your best, and only good, shiny leather boots will do. Are leather riding boots expensive? They can be, but there are good deals out there.

Wampa Wear has posted some photos of black Officers hats that they're assembling on their Facebook page. Looks like they'll be offering them in the near future.

Yep, it is.

It may look like a Gunner, but this character is part of the ground support crew for Tie Fighters, although the folks over at JRS seem to think that it belongs to the IOC. Can't wait until the movie comes out.

Are you going for a Staff/Line Officer or a Bridge Crewman?
-
So there's a new character that appears in the movie Rogue One, an Imperial Ground Crewman. Legos has even made a new figure that is included in one of the new kits coming out. My question is will this character be part of the IOC? The folks over at the Imperial Gunners Forum are planning on claiming it for themselves.

No rank bar needed for a Bridge Crewman.

From the 501st website:
- The applicant submits a costume to his/her GML that does not currently exist in the Legion Membership Database.
- The GML posts the costume to the GML forum, in the New to the Legion / No CRL topic.
-
- LMO, DL and GML review the costume and determine whether it is eligible for inclusion. This review includes:
- Validity of the costume (i.e. Does it meet the character approval guidelines)
- Is the execution of the costume of sufficient quality for inclusion in the Legion
- Once the costume is deemed acceptable, the member will be instructed to work with the detachment to create the CRL
- When the detachment is satisfied with the CRL, it will go to the LMO for review.
- When the LMO approves the CRL, the new costume will be added to the membership database

I know there are companies out there that make rubber heel savers, although I've never used them.

$280 for used boots does sound a bit steep to me.

I just ordered one myself after seeing those photos. Thanks, Richard!

Sherry, if you are in contact with your local GML, send them the link to these boots and they might give them the OK.

The boots look right, but there's an odd logo that appears to be stitched on them.
