VERY few companies produce the 451 tunic.  Clothears may even be the only one, but there may be another out there somewhere.  Otherwise you're looking at a one-off custom job from a tailor who knows what they're doing.

I'm sure Clothears could produce their usual black 451 tunic in grey, however.

Ah, but can we determine which grey was used for the uniform? I'm thinking about the issues figuring out the true color of the green uniforms.

Allyssa “BarnOwlofAthene” Alpert, requesting an advisor in Sussex or Kent county Delaware, U.S.A for help in a new costume.

    Concept:

Chimaera Line Officer (Olive) referenced from the unnamed Imperial crewmen seen in Star Wars Rebels. Practically the same as the standard Imperial Line Officer (Olive) but with the Chimaera patch on the shoulder. I have enclosed images of these officers below, highlighting the patches on their arms, as well as myself wearing the costume. A bit redundant, but I have also included a screenshot from the canon webpage of the Chimaera, which mentions the patches worn by its crewmen.

Howdy, Allyssa! Since your proposing a new CRL for a costume your best bet would be to start a thread in the IOC CRL discussion setcion. Here's the link:

The Chimera Line Officer has been discussed in the past, and I'm sure members of the CRL team would be interested in your proposal.

  3. Lots of members have trooped in other parts of the world, all it takes is contacting a Garrison where you'd like to attend a troop and see what events they have planned in the future. Sign up on their Forums, and see if they'd accept an out of area 501st member to troop with them. Most if not all Garrisons are glad to play host to other Garrison members.

  4. Welcome to the IOC, Frank. The black flight suit is the base for 5 different Legion costumes (Bridge Crew, Tie Pilot, Tie Reserve, Navy Trooper, and Imperial Gunner). As far as boots go, the ones used in the films were West German "Knobelbecher" jack boots. You can find them on Ebay and they turn up at online surplus stores. Some members have used engineer type boots as well as some motorcycle boots (which may require removing extra straps and buckles).

So question then...how do I gain milestones? I've been trooping the past 2 years in my line officer and GA.. and would easy have 25+ troops up..so how does this work?

The images Kalani posted are for "posting milestones", not to be confused with "trooping milestones".
