Not quite, the FO Officers boot has a solid sole and a horizontal seam on the upper shaft of the boots.
-
From what I hear Imperial Boots will do a small run of their FO boots when they get around 7 or more requests for them. You might be able to contact them to get on a run list.
-
The boots in the link that you posted are for Rogue 1 and Original Trilogy, they won't work for First order.

Good luck with your approval, Jayson! Once you receive your approval, make sure you request IOC access to the Forums. Here's the link:

There's an older thread that raised this very question. Here's the link:

Congratulations, Sean! Those are some awesome photos, as well as great memories for you.

Do I need to have my IOC access updated as well? I thought it was, but I cannot see that link.
Yep, it looks like your still listed as a "Member", which is why you can't see the Merch section. Here's the link to request IOC status:
Once granted, you'll be able to see all of the IOC only threads, including Merch.

I often get confused for a security guard when wearing my Bridge or Scanning Crew costumes. Thinking about ordering some "Vader Security" patches.

Just stopping by to say that I completed my first troop yesterday. I am looking forward to many, many more!
Congratulations on your first troop, Marc! Don't forget to request IOC access to the Forums so you can gain access to the "Imperial Hall of Commemoration" where you can log your troops. Here the link:

Yep, lots of members buy those for basic approval.

Yep, those photos are pretty epic.

Right here:

You might not be able to see it because you don't appear to have IOC status on the Forums. You can request IOC access here:

Sad news indeed. Buckets off.

Welcome to the IOC, Marc!

Good luck with your Republic Officer build, I'm keen to see this costume take shape.

The Tie Reserve is basically the same as the Bridge Crew, with the addition of gauntlet style gloves and a compad. Here's the link to the CRL:

That looks much better.

Hi Rebecca, thanks a lot for the info! I underestimated the boots, haha!
Hi Ron, it is a bit too late to change from ISB version 3. I already have the uniform ready, the rank bar and the rest of the props are on its way! So finding someone willin to make a custom riding boot is likely to be my only option! D:
Hi Kalani, thanks for the info, I didn't know about Mux Leather, can you please point out the best option for an Officer's boot (more precisely the ISB version 3) ? I roamed around their website and they have a lot of options haha! Would appreciate if you can point it out.
And I must say, I am way more relieved knowing that there are other options other than Hessen.. they don't seem to deliver to the United Arab Emirates and I assume it is due to the price for shipment, I sent them an e-mail saying that I'd cover those fees, let's hope for the best!
Thanks a lot guys! <3
Actually it's not as late as you think, you can easily find some standard black dress pants to replace the jodhpurs. Just a thought.

Howdy, Gabriel! Remember, you also have the option of going for a "Social Officer" build. One benefit is that low quarters or chelsea styled boots are far less expensive than riding boots. Here's the CRL link if you want to check into it:

Hey Colin, can I post this image on the IOC Facebook page next week?
