The gears and cogs of the Empire can sometimes move very slowly. Waiting to hear back on some soft parts right now.

The Officer in the CRL had his costume made at Carol's Custom Costumes on Facebook. It looks like a medium olive to me, but others on the JRS Forums have been approved with uniforms in the standard Line Officer green. There's a few threads on the JRS Forums in the 181st Fighter Wing section that can help you out. It's a cool uniform, good luck!

My German engineer boots arrived from Sportsman's Guide, and I am very pleased.  They say they are 'used', but mine were in great shape.  They split the difference between the top of my foot and my knee, and looking at some scenes in ANH, look to be perfect for trooper or Tie pilot.  I ordered size 13D, and even with my narrow foot, they fit well with athletic socks.  They have a great, thick (not too thick) rubber sole, which will be very comfortable during a long troop on concrete.  The leather is relatively smooth on the 'shoe' portion, and the shafts are pebbled.
 
If you can get them in your size, I highly recommend them. 

The LMOs can figure out where this costume belongs, I'd be happy with an official CRL no matter where they decide to put it.

I personally have been using Facebook to upload photos here. I made a hidden album on Facebook (only I can see it), and then I right click the picture I want to post here on the IOC, select Copy Image Address. Then here on the forum, I click Insert other media, then select Insert Image from URL. I copy the address, and hit post. That seems to work for now. Otherwise, Id recommend something like Imgur like Ron suggested.

They're also going to offer a new jack boot that closely copies the West German knobelbechers.

Hey all, I'm finally starting to get my life back together, after getting it thoroughly out of kilter due to the birth of my son.
 
I'm finally catching up on the boards I've been neglecting, and hope to keep more current, going forward.  The hard part isn't over yet (we're only a month in), but at least it's starting to be more routine.
 
I haven't neglected the IOC entirely, however... it's been very much in my thoughts.  So much so that I made sure my son had his own uniform.  Meet CID-3013, one of the youngest members of the Galactic Academy:

As a side note, since my wife posted this on the Ladies of the Legions group I have been inundated with requests to make imperial hats for their wee ones... LOL
 
I'm too busy making him other costumes, though.
