  1. The jumpsuit collars do have a subtle upward point in th back of the neck. This "should" still be in the CRL if you look at the higher levels.

And of course, we have known for a long while that lighting and film quality have played havok with how we percieve these colors for many years. The crew hats are the same color as the officer uniforms.

    IS the DL-44 allowed?

Not really, but most GMLs/Garrisons/Squads consider them to be close enough and allow them at least for trooping. Just check with your local unit. They are only completely omitted for L2/L3 submissions.

how would i go about getting an approval to start working on this and who would i contact once this is finished for final reviews

You always have approval to work on a new costume, and you are already in the right place to seek review. You may fire when ready. :duim:

    Anxiously waiting for the CRL.

Just FYI: The 501st is simply waiting for someone to make these costumes accurately, & then successfully send all photos and descriptions to the applicable IOC staff. Nothing can move forward until that happens. :)

  5. Gideon (even with respect to his brief ISB mention) will certainly/most likely fall under IOC, despite the very minimal TIE greeblies/parts ...IF someone even creates the costume correctly

...dude in the  cell....mehhhh..... probably not slightly even a feasible crl with little-to nothing shown of his costume.

That could certainly change, of course with flash-backs or what have you

In the Navy the Ops Officer is a very specific title (there is an Operations Department) and fairly high up the food chain. They run the actual “operations” of ships movement, communications, information, navigation. Pilots, gunners, etc. are completely different animals. Ops owns the bridge unless the skipper is there.

I should have specified "in the Air Force". I know the Navy is a different ball game all together. ;)
