I managed to acquire a few Disney-Anovos hats. They are very nice. The biggest drawback is they are only one size.
Although they include no indication of a size, I'd say they're on the smaller end of medium.

The AT-AT  Commander Armour parts are a mish-mash of existing costume parts, just re-sprayed & with different greeblies.

    - Snowtrooper Helmet (no cowl or eyes)
    - Snowtrooper/S' Commander (same piece) Chest-Plate
    - Snowtrooper Ab-Plate (different snowflake greeblie)
    - Stormtrooper Shoulder Straps
    - Tie Pilot Back-Plate.

Over in the A.C.D. we have a Vendor List (you'll need to have 501st access to see it tho). There we list makers/suppliers of these parts, as well as a few various makers of most the greeblies & extras you'll need to complete the look.

For too long the likes of MC & DL have held the monopoly on a lot of costume hard parts.
There are plenty of other options out there besides these two makers.
If you live in the US, then why not try Bobamaker for the snowy parts? https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.756471244428703.1073741830.198752273533939&type=3
I live in the UK, so i'd prob' go to Troopermaster: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1556215667929626.1073741833.1546878132196713&type=3(you can also pick up the stormtrooper shoulder straps too).
Then all you need is Greeblies/Decals, Rubber trim & a can of spraypaint.

By all means sign-up in the armoredcavalry.net forum.

    I'm the D.L. there.

When looking at Photobucket, from a PC, open the picture you want to use. Then, look at the lower right side of the page where there are options to copy & paste codes for the picture. Choose the one that says IMG. Paste it into the body of the reply & you should be good to go.

I haven't gotten my costume ready for the IOC yet, but I've been a Mando Merc for awhile...of course "Boba", one time "Lolita Boba" (I'm obviously a girl, but that made me sad lol). "Hey, Star Wars" often. "Look, Mandalorians!", fairly often, which is wonderful. "Darth Vader"...what?! A mom to her little boy "look, Darth Vaders friends!", we waved and nodded
With my husband, also in kit (he's tall with blue armor, I'm short and green) "love the Batman and Robin/Boba crossovers!"...that bummed my husband out, I thought it was funny.
Lining up for the DragonCon parade: "Yo, yo, YO!! Jabba Fett!!"...that made me smile.
And my favorite, DragonCon Con Crawl...50+ Mandos marching through the Marriott...drunk guy shouts: "Whoa!!! That's a whole ____load of Boba Fetts!!! #$@!"

That's a good way to get them very shiny.
I like to sit down with a nice new can of black kiwi and some warm water. Cotton balls or a very soft material, like an old dress sock can work well. I do each boot two or three times while watching tv.

Ive never thought of addressing the shininess of boots because in the movies, it's all over the place. Some are shiny, some are mediocre, and some are just terrible-looking. I suggest keeping them looking good, at minimum. I keep mine between military average and high-shine. A good military high-shine is the more recommended.

It's not a canon accessory, since they are never seen with them on film, but for a non-cannon event, why not? It would be a cool accessory to add.

bjsavage7 got a reaction from BensID39999 in Staff Officers
This is a questions that has plagued us for a long time.
The movies, from one to the next, tend to give us conflicting or inconclusive info.
Trading cards, character encyclopedias, and other loosely relevent publications haven't been very clear either.
Stormtrooper Officers (Grand Army of the Empire) and Imperial Star Fleet Officers (The Imperial Space Navy) probably describe them best. The EU was quick to replace "Star Fleet", (as twice heard in ANH) simply with "Navy", to avoid any confusion with Star Trek.
The terms "line and staff", in the real world, are exactly as you describe them. IOC-wise, it was just a case of someone (long before I came along as DL) labeling them that so they'd have some kind of working identity besides "green and black". We never had enough fuss to change it, so we didn't.
We can also look back to John Mollo's thoughts on the uniform designs. According to him, In ANH, the black officers were "Vader's Men", based heavily on Nazi SS forces, and the green were more like "Regular Army" forces, sharing the same fieldgrau colored uniforms common during WWII. Those distinctions faded in ESB, and ROTJ, giving them more of an Army/Navy relationship. Also note that General Officers (and possibly other higher ranking army officers) conform to the olive green uniforms of their naval counterparts, possibly adding merit to the line/staff titles.

I know Todd's Solo boots have been used by many folks.
The other pair, I'd make sure they don't have any odd stretch panels or extra junk on the back side that isn't pictured.
