    Yes! That's a lot better.

If you can post a new face on picture, showing the rank bar in situ and your belt nice and tidy we should be good to go.

    Thanks Gerrit for your submission.

You've a nicely fitted uniform, whilst the trousers are a little rucked up at the back where they meet the boot, in this case I don't think it's excessive or needs correcting.

I understand where you're going with the rank bar, but the black detailing line you've added isn't necessary, or accurate. Can you please remedy this or purchase a replacement rank bar.

Your belt seems to have a minor dressing issue, you shouldn't really be able to see the tongue of the belt - your's can be seen both above and below the strap.

If you can remedy these minor issue issues, submit a new front on picture, we should be good to go.

I'm sorry to hear that, you have a great uniform. The only changes I was asking for at this level, were ones relating to the fitting of the costume.

With such a great uniform and the amount of effort you've clearly put, I see it as a shame not to do this, but that is ultimately your decision.

    Steve,
I apologise for not getting back to you sooner, I have been on holiday since CE3, please remember we do this in our spare time, at the moment you are 4th in the list of costumes I need to review.

Your uniform appears to be to a high quality. Though I would like you to make some tweaks before I grant you Executor status. Most of which I have already mentioned here:
    http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/5898-what-do-i-look-for-in-an-executor-submission/

Can you please move your hat forwards a little so the peak sits just over your eyes.
Your jacket could do with pressing, it appears to be a little crumpled.
Can you please adjust your belt so that the excess is not folded back on itself and sits under the belt in one continuous section, maybe it could also do with tightening.
Can you please press your trousers and correct the flare of the jodhpurs they appear to be a little crumpled.

And submit new face on picture, in full costume.

    Phil

Whilst I have studied your costume at a Garrison level, and know it to be to a high standard - I'd be surprised if it wasn't Imperator level, we do need to formally review the costume again.
You will need to post clearance style pictures, ideally highlighting all of the elements outlined in the CRL.
    Thanks

I didn't know quite where to put this, so in the Officer's lounge it goes. I was at CE III and wore my fairly new green line officer's uniform. I had the utmost privilege to meet many amazing people in equally amazing uniforms (Kris, Phil, Steve, Barry and Cassandra, to name but a few). I was the rather quiet guy with a full beard, doing his best not to look like a complete tool.

I put together the officer uniform as I'll need good visibility when driving my R2 droid and thus can't rely on either the gunner or the TIE I've got in the closet, but I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. Then one of the beforementioned gentlemen mentioned something as we were standing around after the IOC photo - "You set the standard. You take the costuming to the next level. It makes me proud to wear the officer uniform when I see you guys". That resonated in me and made me perk up and really, really want to be a part of this detachment. I think it was Phil that was very specific in saying that "the point is not to point out mistakes, but to show you where improvements can be made and thus lift us all to a higher level".  Unfortunately I'm way better at stiching people up than sewing fabric, but if I could learn how to build a droid, I might be able to learn enough sewing to do the alterations needed. I will be applying for level two shortly (as I don't think my boots are OK for level 3), but I've got some details to take care of first.

Thank you all for opening my eyes to (yet) a whole new level of detail, and I hope I didn't gape too much at Cassandra when she took one look at my belt and told me it was a ROTJ belt. Apparently the thin lines were there for a reason...

    Hi Steve.

First off, we need you to request Detachment member status. Here:  http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/index.php?/topic/1670-501st-ioc-member-status-requests/

Second, we will need you to post your pics in a format using Photobucket or a similar service.

Then, I'll wish you good luck.

Funnily enough it's closer to the Episode 7 Fleet Officer code cylinder.

Sadly it doesn't meet the requirements of the CRL.

Personally I would recommend some of the excellent code cylinders sold here on the forum, if you can't get one of the correct model ones.

Yes, for those reading this, please understand I 100% appreciate the hard work you are doing, providing caps at low prices.
Without your hard work we wouldn't have as many cleared officers as we do.
These are not easy to make, that is clearly illustrated by the fact professional companies have problems and compromise on the design.
It's most likely the reason this hasn't been broached before is because as we've said the subject is a little delicate and we may sound a little ungrateful, we're not.

Nice boots, perfectly acceptable for base and Executor clearance, though due to the triangle cut around the top buckle they are not suitable for Imperator clearance.

This isn't aimed as a detrimental comment, just something to be aware of if you were considering higher accuracy clearance programs.

Going back to a question in this thread about Spanish vs flat style boot tops, we see the flat-style commonly in ANH & Spanish-style commonly in ESB & ROTJ, So they are both fine for L3.

    Richard,
That's is absolutely the best way to decide on your costume details. Find a character you want to emulate and build to match him/her. That is also the best way to chase the higher levels.
Great choice! Like you said staff can be limited with ROTJ being "baress" and having 3 choices to choose from in ANH. You're on the right track!

I'm not aware of Bridge Crew carrying blasters in the films, and they're not mentioned in the CRL. So no, unless your Garrison allow non canon additions to your costume.

You could clear as a Reserve Tie Pilot, they are allowed to carry blasters. Bizarrely they are almost the same costume, but governed by different detachments and CRLs.
