I would’ve sent it back and told them to make a new one or give a refund. That’s bad quality control. -
That looks all wrong.

I feel like you get what you pay for so if it means getting approved, I'm willing to save up for it. Is there something in the 2-3hundred maybe?
Mine was bottom of the barrel for approval and I spent about $425. The higher end ones are roughly $1,000-ish.

I don't have a pic uploaded, but I always like hands clasped behind my back with a stern look on my face.

It is not Disney. Anyone can do screenshots if your video accelerator settings are correct. I have taken several hundred screenshots of various moments over 2 seasons and of several movies.
Not using a PC. Can't do screenshots on my phone.

I hope you gave them some cyanide gumdrops.
Was tempted to. LOL
Funny part was the lady's kid was dressed as Vader. I was like "Dude, ask your kid. I'm one of those guys he chokes to death all the time".

For some reason I can't screenshot disney plus on my PC... screen goes black, or I'd post some identifying shots.
Disney has it set up so that no one can do screen shots.

If you're just going for basic approval, I just got these pvc boots.

Post deleted. Was in wrong thread.

Thanks, everyone. Like I was saying before, it's nothing I'm too concerned about and was just asking out of curiosity.

I had the same problem. Try your tracking number at www.17track.net.
Showed the same exact info. Thanks anyways.

I forgot to mention, I also live in Michigan.
Cool. Where in Michigan? Are are you in the GLG?

Yah, I'm not concerned or anything. As I was saying, was just curious. I've had delays with things ordered within the US as well and thought I'd see what kind of wait others have had with overseas shipments, so I know what kind of wait to expect.
-
I've never ordered anything from overseas and recently bought a couple items from Philo. For those of you who have ordered before: how long did it take to ship to the US? My stuff got shipped on August 27 and tracking info has shown no movement since the 28th. Not complaining or anything, as I know Covid has impacted a lot of things. Was just curious. The waiting game can be murder when you're excitedly waiting for something. LOL

I think I first heard of the 501st in the late 1990s, when I first got on the internet. Think it may have been from reading an article about the fan film "Troops" and there being 501st members involved. Over the following years, I kept hearing more and more about them. Thought it would be cool to join, but thought you had to have a massive amount of money to make your own vacu-form equipment and scratch build your own molds, etc.
I always loved Boba Fett. Then, when I saw ROTS, I thought to myself that I had to have a Phase 2 clone costume one of these days. Fast forward to 2009 and my family organized a huge Family Fun Event at the local grocery store to benefit the local humane society. I got two 501st members to come and in chatting with them, found out that you didn't have to scratch build and could just buy the stuff. 2 years later, I got a huge tax return and decided to finally join. Looked into my first choice of doing Boba and realized my then girlfriend, now wife, would kill me for spending close to $5,000. LOL. Settled on doing a clone and finally got it finished and approved in July 2012. Celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary, got my costume approved and found the house we ended up buying all in the same weekend.
As badass as a clone looks, it really starts to hurt after a while and with not being able to sit down, has led me to finally get a line officer costume which is currently being made.
Although I've never been diagnosed, I've always suspected that I have Aspergers and (like Sakan Tal above) being in costume has helped me a lot with a lot of my awkwardness and other social issues.

Well, both my jobs are essential (beverage vender and grocery store stocker), so I'm still working 6 days a week, although with some reduced hours. Got my clone trooper repairs done, painted up my costume tote to match my armor, and (after wanting this for several years) used what was left over from the stimulus check to finally order my line officer costume.

It's set up as a page to help find people who are looking for armor vendors. Found out that he had a sales post on his own page using an alias.

Everyone please be advised that the admin for the facebook page "Buy or Sell Trooper Armor, helmets and accessories" is a recaster using the names Mauricio Rojas and Orlando Maor. I have seen him trying to sell FOTK armor on his own page and others. The armor was recasted KB armor. Please refrain from using or sending people to his page.

Had the entire crotch area split on me at a recent troop. Zipper to back belt loops. Before I take my pants down to the Joanne’s and spend all day looking for matching thread, I was wondering if anyone already had a link to some?
