Agreed they look much better than the first pair

Very close to CRL photo, although the image does show a slit at the wrist:
I am using these:

Much better fit, I must admit I've not had any problems with ordering the tunic with custom measurements from them but I do add a lot of extra measurements, forearm, biceps and so on.
Pants on the other hand always turn up big, I normally take a couple of inches out of the sides and adjust the flair positioning, then a couple of sprays of starch.
Glad it's turned up just in time

Very impressive, not sure how I should carry mine

I would advise getting a custom set made, they seem to be more of a hit that a miss, most have issues with the off the rack sizing. Make sure you measure as much as you can and accurately, add it into the notes section when ordering. The jackets are a nice fit but most of the time you will still need some tailoring on their pants, for some reason they are always too large, not much of an issue if you know someone that can sew.
They have updated their Olive sale thread so you will have not issues ordering that.
Good luck with what ever you decide.

We will be posting updates in a sticky thread on the main forums, going forward. Or will try our damndest, to.
I did suggest to Eric a mail out to GML's when New CRL's are posted, perhaps the same could be done with updates as again many don't venture onto the main boards frequently if at all
-
It would be nice if a process is brought in to notify GML's when updates are made to the CRL's ;). I do check each time I am looking over a costume application but I know a lot don't.

Nice work, I like the holes in the rank bar too, just have a look at a couple of the close up pics as you will see not all of them had holes in the same spots, some are in the centres and some in the corners

Just happy about the renewal. It seems this series just gets better and better as it goes along. I think they could easily squeeze another couple of seasons out of it. (spoiler alert!!!!) a certain young boy on a certain desert planet was rather young (maybe 10 or so) at the end of "Twin Suns".
I had also thought about that certain boy's age BUT we have already seen a certain sister is older in earlier series of Rebels, and they should be the same age

I thought it was 3, but on set continuity notes say it's 2.
I had a two ready just in case
The screen image does look more like a 2

Phil passed this on to me when I needed dimensions
I also found this

I asked the questions 2 or 3 tiles and was told more likely it was 3, made mine with the standard ANH spacing

What do unofficial troops mean just out of curiosity?? All troops would be official no? Like Hospital Visits, charity fundraisers that we would o etc.
As far as I'm aware ANH Tie pilots carry the DL-44 although it is not an optional accessory for them. The same way Snowtroopers use DLT 19 even though it is not an Optional accessory also. Only E-11 and DL-44 for them.
Thanks for the feedback so far appreciate it
There are typically two event classifications, canon and non-canon (unofficial) Trooper survival guide is a great read http://databank.501st.com/databank/TrooperSurvivalGuide

The sides of the hat are better but it does not have the accurate piping only stitching, peak looks large and stitching is differently spaced, may pass approval depending on your GML (garrison membership liaison), I would consult with him/her.
Example of my hat
I have filled some tight boots in the past with scrunched up wet newspaper and allowed that to dry, does take some time but I did find it had stretched the boots enough. I also would suggest trying thin socks or even ladies ankle tights just for the moment.
-
Some of our members will carry a DL-44 at unofficial events but they are a no go for approval photos or cannon events

Hello I too did not like to be in the publics eye, I started with a Stormtrooper and then an officer (which I only wore once) after a few more costumes and lots more time with the public I find I am more comfortable with a non helmet costume now and really enjoyed my last convention this weekend as an officer.
Have you looked through the 501st database of costumes? http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLbyname

Nice work thanks for sharing

If only I could get into reading, one of my pet hates, only do it so I can learn what's needed for costume approvals
-
Well I do feel the cold and think I'd look good in a coat
I have seen the images but thanks for the share Sean

These may be helpful
From the 501st website:
Preparing your photographs
Your local Garrison Membership Liaison (GML) will need to verify your qualifications. To do this, they will need to see pictures of you in your costume for validation. See the 501st Legion unit listings to identify your local GML for picture submission.
The following tips will help make sure that you get the right photos to the GML on your first try:
- Only submit pictures of yourself alone against a plain background (no convention photos, please).
- We will need photos with your helmet/mask on and off (if applicable).
- You must include full-length views of your costume from the front, back and both sides.
- Be sure to take your photos with adequate lighting and at a high-resolution to help us inspect the details.
- Do not wear any non-canon accessories or add ons, including jewellery, glasses, earrings, (unit patches, extra weapons, pauldrons when not part of the canon costume etc...)
- If you include any weapons such as a blaster or lightsaber, please ensure that they conform to the weapons policy.
