  1. If I can wear my Sullustan mask and my green suit at an event with no one wagging an angry finger at me and throwing ban hammers for wearing an "unapproved costume" then I am someone that wants a Prescreening Officer or whatever it will eventually may be called. I do like Jeff's suggestion of it being a tab with the Warrant Officer.

Some Garrisons and Command Staffs have weird long histories of ruling their members with iron fists about what can and can't be worn at events, anything that helps members get to live their best IOC life is always a good thing.

I propose we make a 'prescreening officer' CRL. Adding all this info into one CRL is making it too cluttered. I can foresee new members getting confused if we put too much into this crl.

I agree there is a lot of info in this thread to throw into 1 CRL, but isn't this why tabs were introduced? Prescreening Officer seems like a good one to just be a tab

  3. Since I was name dropped I'll just post this info and photos here...

    Darth Vader (2020) #14 - Imperial aliens!
To me it looks like the "Social Officer" configuration without a rank bar and many code cylinders... more or less.
These Officers work in the "Prescreen Department" which seems from the story like they're filtering through production issues and contract negotiations, you know the exciting stuff!

  4. Since we can only speculate right now until the game is actually out I'm going to guess that the guy with the jacket and goggles on is some type of maintenance/flight deck technician. The way the lighting is it makes it look like he's wearing a jacket and not a flightsuit, so that might be problematic when trying to make some CRLs if all the costumes are in that kind of dramatic lighting.

More speculating/wishful thinking - I hope during the single player mode the story spans maybe a year and we can see Admiral Slone in the beginning (as pictures above) and then the story mode ends with us (the players) on our way to Jakku and we get our orders from her as Grand Admiral (and then the sequel game can be the Battle of Jakku and beyond).

    Hi all! I'm new here.

Sarah "SassyJawa" Gagliardo, requesting an advisor in Wilmington, NC, USA area for help with a Radar Tech from Star Wars - Resistance.

I don't believe there is a CRL for this, so I am kind of in left field. My CO said I should join the forums here and see if I could be connected to the CRL team. I am working on a build list and sketches, and have most of my information together. I have a plan but not really sure where to go from here! Thank you!

(If this is in the wrong place, I apologize!!)

Looks like you already started a build thread sharing your research, so you're already on top of things!

    Hello,
I need an advisor/help for building a FO Sith Fleet technician. I am on the Imperial Gunners forums already, but they suggested I come here to find patterns for the uniform. I hope someone can help provide patterns for the FO Gunner, which is the base for the Sith Fleet tech. Thanks! I am in the SF Bay area.

Hi Amy, I didn't want you to think anyone was ignoring you.

This costume is in a weird holding pattern for the moment. There's not a lot of good references available right now of the entire costume (mainly the back). Once the movie is available for home viewing in a few weeks that'll help move things along. I know being told to wait sucks but sadly there's no much else we can do until someone is able to pause the movie and zoom in in high definition.

I'm the XO for the Gunners detachment by the way, so I'm sure we'll be seeing each others posts a lot while you're working on this.

Here's the color comparison. Upper left is the cavalry twill, upper right is my own fabric used for this costume, dyed to match the color of the first. Second row is unaltered white twill.

Wow, those are different, the photo of the finished suit that you posted earlier does not show this color difference at all.

  8. I hope this costume can happen, it would be awesome for more Ysanne love. (Armand was made canon again, here's hoping she will be too someday).

The last time this suit was proposed I argued the case that the tunic isn't white, it's a cream like this ISB, or even a few shades darker.

Both characters have white hair and the tunics are a very different color.

Also, I'd say that the pants aren't black, they're gray. Again, her hair is the key color difference. Her  hair is very much black, as are the boots, and the pants are very much a different color than both of those.

You've made a fantastic tunic, but so far white is only seen on Grand Admirals and Krennic. Maybe we'll get some new content featuring another Grand Admiral and we can finally get that costume to have two versions like the Legends version (Rae Sloane has only 1 image from the belt up in her GA suit and there's no images at all of Balanhai Savit yet).

Given all that, it seems unlikely these could serve as a source for generic Kallus armor, since these are different. I'm also not sure if that source is canon enough to serve as sole source for a CRL... that would require more research and inquiries up the chain.  Not saying no, but definitely not saying yes without more info.

Pablo Hidalgo wrote the book and it came out not long after Solo, I'd say that makes it canon enough (being that it's officially done by the story group and it's not out of date material with no official sources).

We'd not a lot more detail, though. The back, especially.

Keep in mind we can't just "extrapolate", even if it makes sense. And this seems different enough to animated kallus that we couldn't assume it's the same even if that were the general policy (which it isn't).

    I see 3 things, I'm sure there's more.
-Boots seem more in line with typical officer boots, emphasis on seem, hard to tell in this photo
-shoulders, in this photo they appear to be armor instead of just a different color on the suit

-front panel on the tunic looks much thinner on these guys, almost the width of the belt buckle, where Kallus has a much wider one in comparrison.

It's a pretty neat book, written from the points of views of a family of lawman during The Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, and sequel eras. There's also rumors that a female ISB agent with this look is going to be added as a playable class in Battlefront 2. So this would be more of a field agent kind of thing vs. the usual tunic/black pants look.
