Waiting patiently for this amazing costume to be added to the IOC crls

Hi All I have noticed some members have trouble uploading pictures to the forum, In this age of tablets and smart phones I highly recommend Tapatalk, this app give the user the ability to upload pictures direct to their posts easy and simple 

Wow. It's honestly great to see how much thought, time and effort goes into discussing and deciding crl's.
 
As a fairly new costumer who generally makes their own stuff, a clear crl is a godsend. Personally, I find the ones with a ton of variants terrifying - especially things like seam placements etc. What if the seams I choose don't go with the weapon  variation I choose? (Costume ocd is an affliction )
 
I think as a face character Hask has earned a crl. He's named because he's a main feature - not so it's easier to credit than 'officer Vader choked' (BTW,  love that line ). To costume as Hask, you are representing a specific character - not just an officer. Same as Tarkin, Thrawn and all the others mentioned previously. As a costumer looking to do a specific character, rather than generic, it's a lot easier to have a specific crl to work from.
This my personal opinion though.
 
Hask has differences in his uniform. The seams are different, the code cylinders etc. This is not a variant to the generic crl, this would make it a different uniform. This is a lot different to 'generic uniform officer, choose your rank' variations. 
 
I also think by having a specific crl it will pave the way for others in the future to create a realistic Hask thereby helping to enrich and grow the wealth of characters across the world that the legion troop.

I'm a gml and I find a crls work better for a specific characters too many different versions on one can get lost and confused the Rotj warrant officer is a example its lost on the warrant officer  crl the amount of people who don't about it is staggering the same would happen to hask

All right , since there seems to be quite an argument going on about Hask , i'm going to throw my 2 Imperial credits here ... 

The previous screenshots of the game have proved that there are differences between the petite redhead's uniform ( generic ) and Hask's , " minor " differences but differences nevertheless . In real life , we'd say this is due to the person's frame and thus tailoring constraints . But our references come from a video game , where tailoring constraints are - if anything - nonexistent and where everything if possible from a tailoring point of view . 

So , that leaves us with two distinct uniforms , even if they're differentiated by minor differences like placement of the seams . 
And regarding the colour being the same but appearing different under different lighting conditions , well , we've always been about ' screen accuracy ' haven't we ? So if the Game Devs say all uniforms are grey , but one looks black or has a blu-ish hue in a certain scene , well we make two different uniforms . 

But for me it really gets down to one simpler thing that makes all the costume differences pretty irrelevant . 

Hask has his own CRL as part of Inferno Squad , he's a main character in the game . 
So , why should he suddenly fall into the " generic " category when he puts on a FO Uniform ? He remains a " Hero character " , does he not ? 
So that really settles the issue in my opinion .

I've read this thread with interest and it's a great build but if there's doubt that Hask should get a unique CRL, then as others have pointed out, hes a cutscene character with dialogue and a main character in the game - does anyone else in the 501st actually even have a costume like this? I thought  a costume was needed before adding to a CRL.... every journey has a beginning... and the challenges  making a real life costume of a game version look to have been overcome. We can dwell on some things waaaaaay too much. Let's get to work... for the Empire! 

I agree with Mac that I think Hax should have a specific crl, if someone like kris has the time and patience to make it look as close as possible to a screen accurate picture with all the differences, or he’s just making a generic Officer, I’m not expert and am still learning how this all works but from a newbie stance to me it’s too many differences.

My opinion Hax needs his own crl there's too many differences for him to go in a generic officer crl if it was me making this I would make it the same as kris not a generic first order officer 

You are correct this is a discussion not everyone is going to agree, as for listening we are doing that too, remember a builder of a new to the legion costume does not have to involve everyone, they only have to work with the DL and LMO, this thread alone shows we want to hear voices but someone is not going to get everything they want, as for the generic female from BF2 I would love to see someone build one but to my knowledge that has not happened yet.

As I said in Patricias other thread, I would make this a seperate CRL and not add it to this one.

I wrote article and it will appear in May (problem is that it will be in Polish, but if you want, I will show you photos of it).

Can't wait to see more of the officers!  The brief glimpses in the trailer weren't enough.

Mac inspired me to do some research.
 
So the gentleman in the VD for R1 is Paul Putner and actor/writer/comedian. Its possible that he was first cast for that role and there were images already gathered for merchandise and promotional material. However, re-shoots happened.
 
Coincidentally to our case, the stunt supervisor for the re-shoots is Steen Young who, according to IMDB and Canon: A Star Wars Wiki, plays a "vault officer" in the movie R1.
 
So its possible that they had this look for Putna at first (VD), but for the purpose of the re-shoots and the availability with the actor, the stunt coordinator stepped in and filled that role.
 
Moral of the story: Re-shoots don't help at all lol
