  1. An etched badge for the front could be the way to go.  It'd look really cool for sure.

The arm insignia, I'd probably lean towards a vinyl applique not unlike our flight suit cogs.

Also, gather more references.  This one looks gray, but I remember it being more blue in the show.

  2. I love your work!

For a back reference, the bottom left panel from the comic seems to show no princess seam.  We can't tell if there is a center seam, but there would almost have to be SOME seam.

The trousers could be black, grey, or even Fieldgrau if we were to interpret the colorist's choice.  But sticking with what's in the comic, I'd think grey.

Ultimately, the LMO team will need to chime in to decide if there is enough to green light it though.

    @LordMalexit wanna weigh in?

I'm happy to see you presenting the case though!  Thank you for that.

  3. I'm late to the discussion, but thought I'd explain the rationale for homeing it at IGC.

If you read the Visual Dictionary photo above:

"Bridge-based duty stations are much more desireable post than the radioactive guts of engineering or superlaser maintenance..."

The broader description seems to have them managing power levels for the axial superlaser from the bridge, and working on it below decks.  The helmet filters dangerous gases, and they have radiation detectors on their belt.

So they seem to be a good fit for IGC.  Also, We'll be getting at least 3 brand new CRLs, and updating at least one.  If we claimed this one, IGC would have gotten shut out.

I'd love to see work continue here AND at IGC though;  Sometimes different teams see things differently.

  4. Now that we're about 6 or so months out, I thought it was time for Star Wars Celebration 2020 to have it's own section.

I'll try to get all the FAQ type stuff in this post.

    What: Star Wars Celebration 2020

Where: Anaheim Convention Center 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802

More info as it comes in.  Until then, here is the official website

Hi everyone!  I'm new to this forum, working on ROTS Vader over on the SLD forum (completion expected in November), and submitting in a few weeks for Imperial Bridge Crew (ANH) and simultaneously, TIE Reserve Pilot, through the California Imperial Sands Garrison.

I'm curious about how rank works with generic bridge crew. Are they basically "enlisted" or are they officers? I can't find details.  I suspect I'll just be calling everyone Sir or Maa'm...

    Thanks!

    Dave

I read somewhere recently that the Black flight suited Bridge Crew are officers of some sort, and that the Grey suits are enlisted.

Maybe that's how Glynn Dillon explained it?  If I find the reference, I'll try to share it.

  6. CRL Revision/Overhaul:  Staff Officer - Black

Purpose:  To have current Staff Officer CRL brought in line with it's appearances in Rogue One, Solo, and other canon sources.  As it exists now, this costume is modeled primarily on ANH, which has it's own CRL.

Status:  Discussion thread has been started

  7. This will be the home for the "Official" work list.  "Official" in this case means ones that the Command Staff are aware of, and thus should not be taken to mean nothing else is in the works.

It will remain locked and updated by staff as additional CRLs are brought to our attention and (behind the scenes) work begins.

Please continue to use the CRL Updates area to discuss possible revisions as normal.

    Thank you

    - Jeff
