    Certainly. The CRL team discussed allowing either configuration - blue up or red up.

    The discussion boils down to;

    In favor was that it's seen both ways, even though one way has to be a coloring error.

    Against is that since R1 came out, we have an official way to wear a Director's rank bar.

    At this point, we're getting to an up or down vote between the CRL team and Staff members.

    I expect to have either a "It stays as is" which will end the discussion, or a "the Team decided it can be changed". If the team decides it can be changed, I'll present that to the Detachment for a 5 day comment period.

    I hope that is transparent, and that all parties will abide by the process. :)

    Hessen boots opinion(meh)

    If my boots had come in looking and feeling this nice I would of said yes this is a nice boot.

    Monday I will be contacting Hessen about this and perhaps get a reason why.

    Please do, and share what they say.  As I'm sure you noticed, Hessen is one of - if not THE - premier boot suppliers.

    You're experience is so far from the norm, that it took many of us off guard.

    We can add that to our CRL Review list come March.

    I agree,  you can make some really convincing leather with EVA foam.  Though I was thinking,  the armor on characters in Rebels seems a bit "flexible".  If you watch Agent Kallus or Sabine, you will see their armor stretch and shrink to allow movement that would be otherwise prohibited by their armor.  It would be interesting to replicate that with EVA foam.

    For the Officers in Rebels, I always took the "armor" on their shins to just be how they decided to animate regular officer boots rather than armor like Kallus or Sabine wear.
