Yeah - Han was older than Luke, but not THAT much older - imagine he's at most mid-teens during ROTS, more likely single digits.  Depending on what the story is and what they're showing (I'm still hoping for making it cannon again that he was an officer that freed Chewie and left the academy), I'd imagine probably 5-10 years before ANH.

Yes, RO isn't EU, and will probably get it's own section within the OT. Right now, it was just placed somewhere so people didn't have to look all over. The IOC is growing so rapidly in both members, and costumes, it isn't always easy to initially place things in a spot where they make the most sense.  Not to mention that when this site was made, there was only the OT, the Prequels, and the EU which was where everything else was placed.

As far as the Ground Crewman CRL is going, the IGC is working hard to get it done, although the helmet seems to be the hardest item to get good, clear photos of to be able to replicate. When it's finally worked out, I'll probably build one.

Agreed.  No reason to have infighting like what happened with the Shore Trooper.

Remember, costumes aren't always just associated with a detachment by it's name or function. It's physical appearance can be a deciding factor. This costume, being similar to the gunner, gives it fair enough reason to find it's way to the ICG. We are of course, free to research, discuss, and share any information here about it, but it doesn't necessarily have to belong to the IOC.

It was submitted to BJ, with the holidays and the movie and the LMO out of the country I wasn't expecting anything until january at the earliest.  I'm sure if there's an update or items needed we'll hear.

It is normal to have that many capes or coats for one peason. As if you see some parts of the movie, why the cape flow nicely when he was walking very fast in the towner. and when he meets vader the cape looks much heavy

Fellow Officers , here is a good article from the LA Times about Krennic's costume , it seems they got a few of the costuming department people to talk a bit . In short , we all already knew several capes had been made for the movie , it's obvious they just don't use one or two . So according to the article there were TWELVES different capes . Some more light-weight , some more heavy , some waterproof , basically one for every situations . And most likely a couple just in case one was dirtied during a shot or something .
They confirm the cape is white and not a light shade of grey , although they seemed to regret their decision at some point .

The only odd thing that strike me in the article is that they say the cape was made of gabardine , while the Celebration board states " cotton weave " .
So i suppose some were made from cotton , others from gabardine . I wish they would've made it clear which ones , or what the raincoat / poncho was made of .

I would say for Level 1 maybe allow the standard tunic - obviously up to the powers that be, but I've seen ones made without the princess seams, and unless the tailor knows what they're doing, it bunches ugly at the belt.

I can't honestly say I've heard of a GML who required a rule to the cap to meet the measurements in the CRL - if it looks right on your head I think for most that's all they care about.

Eh.  FO TK's and Captain Phasma get plenty of love.  If you mean the FO officers - blame that on Disney and LFL.  EVERY. SINGLE. SCENE. save the outdoors wideangle one with officers is so freaking dark we've been taking forever to pick out details.  Add to it the VD only had a front or a side view of most of them, and it's been a real struggle to make them - sadly they'll probably hold until Episode 8.

It's almost like either the FO forgot to pay the light bill, or Krylo.. I mean, Kylo thought it was cool for it to be dark.

Got that email as well. That belt buckle better be shipping in a container that's fit to keep a nuclear head save during transport with all the testing that was done on it!
I'm not even expecting the uniform to fit perfectly as that's near to impossible with the generalised sizes so a trip to the tailor will have to be booked. Last time I was there it was for my wedding suit.... this time it'll be an imperial officer.... I bet he'll raise an eyebrow!! lol

And as such we wear replicas of those random rank bars. ☺
For canon events at least. Non canonical events may afford more flexibility, depending on your local garrison.
