And thanks for that clarification - in that case, would the gloves sold by Wampa wear be in your opinion good for Level 1 of an IN?

Yeah.  Actually a lot of people are lopsided.  One side is bigger than the other - feet, hands, legs, arms, chest, etc.  Not everyone, but that's why CGI still looks CGI to a lot of people - our minds can tell there's something wrong when someone is perfectly symmetrical.

Ok, here is where I'm inclined to push for greater accuracy at L1. The standard flares that you get from vendors are just... ludicrous for Pryce.
 
Pryce's flares are very small. So small that until we got a full length photo, I and plenty of others thought they did not exist. I feel that allowing full sized flares, even at L1, is not acceptable for Pryce. It makes it look not like her. Seamlines don't change whether the costume looks like her, but the silhouette really does. I would even be willing to accept straight pants for Pryce before the full sized flares.
 
To add to my push for this, changing the flare size is SUPER EASY. Because you're taking out fabric, rather than adding more, you can take any pair of pants bought from traditional suppliers and sew in smaller flares. So, my suggestion is this:
 
 
For 501st Approval:
Fabric is a medium weight suiting material exactly matching the tunic and medium grey in color. The flares on the jodphurs are not as wide or pronounced as on Original Trilogy officers jodphurs. Pockets are acceptable, although are not visible with the tunic on.  Flares should be stiffened.  
For level two certification (if applicable)
Small flares on the breeches mimic the shape of Pryce's flares. This wording is also consistent to what we've done on other segments (like the eyebrows for makeup) where the higher level just makes people make it look even closer to the reference art rather than defining it. But this also means that L1 you still need to bring in the flares so that they are not as pronounced.
 
Also, having fit these flares, I really don't want to put a number on it. I say this, because I actually determined just how much of a difference there is between my thighs when making these. No matter what I did, every time the two were identical in shape when laid together, the right leg looked wrong. Its still not 100% but I realised I had to take nearly an additional inch off of it to make it look right because of the width of my thigh. So if you lay them out, one does not match the other anymore. However, now when you look at them on me, they look the same. The physics of 3D bodies, go figure.

There's no "new hotness", but more of a "try desperately to update that when possible".  
 
Oh, and to put the "decrotive stitching" to rest, that does not include the common three stitching lines found on most screen-used gloves. 

If we are going to require push button rank bars for anything, it should be level three.
 
 
We wouldn't be requiring exact leather, no-zipper english riding boots for level one (we would never get any new recruits in if we did), so why for rank bars?

Most people I've seen wearing them, they are pretty normal pant length (albeit somewhat high waters).  That would be an issue if they were so short the lacing was sticking out, though, I agree.  I'm not sure they're quite as short as you think, though.  Perhaps you can find someone who has a pair that would fit your waist, and measure how far down the lacing starts?  The Anovos size chart is useless for people who don't have the ideal body size/shape.  But I wouldn't rule out completely that the pants wouldn't work for you, since it's actually possible to check how that they've actually shipped some.  I certainly wouldn't want to be on their waiting list again, at this point, however, after the endless delays of the first round.
 
I have a 36" inseam, so I have a hard time finding pants, too (most places only stock up to 34", but I'm not quite tall enough or heavy enough for big and tall shops, ironically!).

I will. It looks great for my GA (now I will have two tunics for that.)

I am 6'6" with a 38 inch inseam (Doc told me once if my torso had ever caught up to my legs I'd be around 7'2").  The Jacket probably would fit, the pants wouldn't have a chance in hades.

I thought it was a seam til I went back to the photos and now I don't think its a seam. You can see the top stitching going through the top-stitching on the yoke's side triple-stitch.

On the other hand, I gave accurate info for my neck, and it was a bit big.  My wife's was nearly dead on.  I don't think generalizations hold true much for CS, as the results seem to vary depending on who is working that day.

And that's fair.  My one suggestion/idea/whatever would be get folks that are invested in making that costume the best it can be.  Take Thrawn or Price for example - there's like 3 or 4 people on each making it right now - and doing a damn fine job.  Let's get their input, instead of someone who may or may not have studied the character anywhere close to the amount of time they have.
 
As we said on that other one we are still debating, we're not mad because the CRL is bad - we just think some of the items were a bit overboard, or unclear.  The more clear and concise, the less room for error on either costumer or GML.

Well, whomever touched the CRLs last really f***ked them up.  The rank bar one for instance, WTF is it mentioning about hats?
I can see why you guys are upset with them now, I hadn't really read through them in years and they are a bit of a mess.

Well, i'll say I wish you had been in admin on Clone side - because one of my friends had to redo her holsters on her clone because Level 1 said on a strap, Level 2 said no strap, magnetic attachment, she went that way because it looked better, and was refused entry until she put the bloody strap on.
