    I totaly agree with DarthFunk83.
Ask Paggeldiwwer or Furiosa for help, with them, you are in good hands

I definitely don't know how to sew or anything, but to help you out on finding a pattern, perhaps this thread might be a good starting point. I know there are other patterns and threads out there on the forums somewhere.

Keep up the good work man. There's always obstacles and set backs with costume builds. Some people experience more than others. Like you said, laugh it off and keep at it

    That's really too bad, man.

Ultimately, what you do is up to you. Its your build. Id say if you were confident that you could make a tunic yourself or if its something that you've really wanted to learn and attempt yourself (i.e. if its been a goal of yours to become a better tailor), then take a shot. If its really not something you want to tackle yourself or if you think you're not up to the task, roll the dice again with CS. This time you know what to check for and you know that if there is anything wrong, contact CS asap. That's my way of thinking at least...

They did the same thing to @Manleymanwhen he ordered - super short skirt section.  Sadly he dragged his feet for a few months before contacting them, and so they didn't help him out.
I hope you're inside the window for them being able to work something out with them.

If it's their mistake definitely press for a replacement! It's a heck of a mistake to make and it is more likely to harm your chances of clearing than not.  I'm not even sure you could sell it on to recoup the loss. Let us know how you get on!

Definitely contact CS and see what they can do. Explain to them what the problem is and that you ordered custom and their measurements were made incorrectly. CS has, in the past, had very good customer service, so it doesn't hurt to shoot them an email.

Definitely contacting CS - hoping they can help me out.

Once I finally get this Staff Officer approved, I think I'll do a "what not to do" thread - this has become my white whale in so many ways.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that you've had a CosplaySky issue. :C
I actually have a friend who had a similar sort of problem, but I think his waist seam was in a reasonable location? The tunic just was a little shorter than he would have preferred.... didn't come down as far as he'd have liked.
In his case, it was suggested that maybe he request some of the same tunic fabric from CosplaySky (They do actually sell their own uniform fabric, so that you can make alterations and make your own hats and such to match!) and he could try to remake the lower panels and extend everything himself. Bit of a nightmare.... and it wouldn't solve your waist seam issue.
In your instance, I'd worry that the high waist seam, which wouldn't be covered by a belt, might hold you back from clearance. It depends on how picky your GML would be, or if they'd notice?
CosplaySky do take custom orders. It's unfortunate, since it's another cost to pay... but you could show them these photos, give your measurements, and they can try to tailor something for you personally? Was this a custom job from them or was it a stock size?

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to contact the local GML and talk through it to make sure they're cool with it too - but I think things are looking up!

Not Tattling.  If there's a disagreement on the CRL, the GML's actually supposed to go to the DL for clarification.  You did what you had to, nothing more.

Sorry I'm just now seeing this. Just thought I'd give my thoughts on this.
I've never seen a stretch panel in that particular spot, so this is new to me. I'll have to start checking for those.
Stretch panels are specifically mentioned in the CRL because all the ones I've ever seen were on the back, side, or somewhere very obvious, making the boots look inaccurate. As mentioned, zippers on the inner shaft are allowed because they are basically out of plain sight. I think this detail might also fall into that out of sight category & we need to take a look at that. The thought behind it's placement is seemingly the same as having a zipper there, in my opinion. I would say those are fine for basic approval at least. If you can find better ones, or have this detail modified by a cobbler, that's great, but please feel free to quote me in saying I think these are ok for basic.

Spanish style tops is definitely still ok.

I'm not sure about the stretch panel.  Others will need to weigh in on that.  I'd tentatively guess ok, at least for basic, but I'm not sure about higher levels.  Need someone with authority to weigh in.
