There's only one OT "Staff Officer", the ANH 451-style one. Pretty rare costume that was erroneously coupled together in the past with any black tunic officer.
Temp in the URL is very likely just a wiki mistake. @chicken45 any ideas?

I'm also on the hunt for a synthetic leather 2" officer belt with the incisions along the top and bottom edges. I have a good buckle already, though I'm open to getting another buckle if someone knows of a "total package" option.
Why synthetic? Real leather will hold up better.
If it's for vegan reasons, plastic is much much much worse for the environment; check out Cactus leather or similar as a vegan option instead. You'll have to diy but making a black belt isn't too tough.

Chelsea boots are a style not a brand. They tend to be pretty commonly available (especially in black). I found them at local big box stores even!

Long time coming, good decision

But I won't put it into the draft CRL since there's no solid evidence, just speculation. And I wish that our CRL promote re-usability across similar characters instead of specification to one single character. After all, no two leaves are exactly the same in the world.
I concur firmly; that's a little too much for a CRL (even level 2+)

Also worth noting his code cylinders are all kinds of stupid compared to others. I *suspect* they're just aluminum tubes with clips glued on them as they look unlike any replica or real accurate dosimeter I've ever seen.

Very good eye! They looked Anthology sized on screen to me but after pixel counting with a known height, they are indeed approx 18.4mm which aligns to original trilogy sizes!

Looking great! Congratulations!

Looking Sharp! Is that a Jim Triptan uniform?

@chicken45 for when you get back, is this on your radar?

Wow that's an amazing picture! Thank you for sharing!
Update: Gonna try lathing one out. It'd be a sweet addition to the CRL since they're clearly visible!

3) Code Cylinder
This one is not something the JRS came up with
Both types of crew can be seen with the pointy style code cylinder in ESB. I'm not sure if there is another name for this thing, It is the same style of cylinder that can be seen on ROTJ Wedge Antilles for example.
Different than the honeyspoon? Do you have a better picture/closure up? I can't really see a difference.
oh nevermind I see it now. Weird. Any better close ups/found parts on that? Bet I can lathe one out.

I would prefer buying only the button caps, but unfortunately they only sell the complete stalk.
Even complete, the price is lower then just the EAO button caps from online electronic stores.
How many and what types do you need?
-
They look functionally similar enough. The dimension on the stalk seem about right for the lense cap to be Anthology sized.
Are you buying the whole electronic stalk or just the button cap?

Kinda depends on how we write the CRL, I'd hope.
We'd hope but... ya know lol

These are screencaps from the old Star Wars Galaxies game. Some notes before them:
The game NEVER showed Officers with rank badges or code cylinders. Some servers later unofficially modded them to have those. This was an old game though so there were limitations at the time.ALL officers wore the same sorta-gray-sorta-not uniform. They were obviously meant to imitate the on screen color but a feldgrau wasn't really possible at the time.
The "Death troopers" from their expansion all have wildly different appearances, and they created zombified versions of Scouts, AT-AT drivers, and all the main player species in the game.
Personal opinion: we should use these sorts of references as a thematic idea, but going exactly (IE: the belt had 2 holes!, damage at the pants just above both knees!) is really not a good idea for emulating the spirit of the costume. These are low pixel low tech creations from a bygone era of games.

Great costume!

Also as Alay says, I cannot stress enough about not just buying some off the internet. Shows and TV have access to the very best, and are almost always custom for the actors. Even then, there are many cases of the actors talking about how grim their experiences are sometimes and they're only wearing them for a short time. In your case, as I imagine you'll be looking to spend significant time in costume throughout a day, comfort is of paramount importance with things as precious as your eyes.
Industry standard for movies/TV is just to CGI the eyes. They've completely stopped using Sclera for this very reason!

Great crewman!

IF you have seen a medical professional who has evaluated your eyes, and you're approved BY THEM for contact lenses, a red iris-changing lens sold by a reputable company and medically approved could be worn.
DO NOT wear Sclera lenses. They can damage your eyes to the point of loss, and quickly at that, if improperly fitting or bad reaction to them. It's not worth the risk.
My advice; photoshop your eyes in pictures in costume. Everyone in person will know you're Thrawn, and you don't risk your safety.

Those are awesome! Did you make them yourself?
