["Real life" Officer Belt Buckle]

Sorry for the clickbaity title. I recently ordered a belt from a company called Grip 6. They're neat because they don't have holes so they're a lot more adjustable. The reason I mention it here is because the buckle itself looks like a mini officer belt. My first thought when I opened the bow was "I need a mini greeble!"

Just thought I'd share and see if y'all had the same thoughts as I looking at them haha.

Looking at the quote, it seems like he's saying that the series won't end at Scarif, not necessarily that it won't be included at all. Maybe Scarif is a mid season finale?

Doesn't look like they have the black ones anymore. I'd be wary about getting the green one, unless you plan on matching it to some fabric and making the tunic and jodhpurs yourself.

From what I understand, if you don't fit standard sizing, Hessian is THE boot to get. Todd's look really nice, but again, the shaft is too small for me.

I have Todds boots and they look really good. The down size is that they are too small for my calves. What size shoe doe you wear? If you're at or near a 12 (my size) I can give you my measurements before you buy.

My preference would be that there are R1 and OT variants under one CRL. So there would be one Line officer, but under L2 and L3, you'd have to specify what type your going for... kind of like what you said.

I can't get mine on because my calves are about an inch too big, but they appear to be wide enough for my feet. I also wear 12.

Then I uploaded the wrong picture to the ANH config; the forums were being particularly fussy that night haha. I'll fix those when I get the chance.

 

Regardless though, the issue should then be with the ANH config and not the ESB, since the CRL states that "ANH and ROTJ shall not have code cylinders,"

Can you be more specific Kris. I don't know what you're referencing. I've read that before submitting. Is it the base costume point? If so, the ESB config I have has 2 code cylinders. It's not the same as my ANH config.

The (current) general consensus is that for the original trilogy the buttons should be 1/4 inch. If you're doing the larger Rogue One style, the spacing should be closer to 1/8 inch. The way I'm doing mine is that I'm keeping the bar length the same, and just centering the buttons regardless of their type.

So is the problem that I used the same submission photos as my ANH Bridge Crew plus the code cylinders? I've based my submission on several recent ESB submissions that 1. don't have headsets and that doesn't seem to be a problem (I don't want to call anybody out, lol), 2. the CRL actually doesn't say that the ESB shall or must have the headset, just that ANH and ROTJ shall not, and 3. there are multiple pictures of ESB crew without a headset.

If I need to retake the ESB photos so they're different from my ANH submission that's okay, but I don't see how the headset is mandatory, especially when others don't seem to need them.
