Interesting option, but (a) I need to see the source for this, and more importantly (b) you mentioned that was a S2 promo photo, and this is the S1 CRL thread.  
 
Add it to your build thread, and when it comes time to do an S2 variant we can take a look!

It's sewn into the seam, clearly.  I don't think that needs to be a hard requirement in the CRL, but if you're going for 100% accuracy, that would be the way to go.  Probably best from a construction / durability standpoint, too.

I agree the Dark Saber line needs tweaking.  That wasn't my edit, but confess I didn't double-check it at the time.  I'll talk to the guilty party and clean that up.
 
Here's the money shot for the leather inner thigh reinforcement patches:
 

 
You can see pretty clearly that it comes up to a [slightly rounded] point, and only about 1/2-3/4 up the thigh, not all the way to the crotch.

I had denoted the particular images as "low res placeholders" right under the photos, when I added them earlier today, but I just got the final images (gloves and boots), so everything is current now.
 
I agree it would be nice to get a nice shot of the inside of the cloak, but according to the costumer, it's a bit complicated to get the shot, logistically, and frankly you can see everything important about the inside in the top photo, with the costumer wearing the cloak, so I'm not really pushing for it.  If we can get one after the fact, it can always be added later.

Images added to OP.  All are ready except for two placeholder images, which will be swapped with high res versions when available.

Gotcha.  Your boots DO look very good, of course, and I think they should be approvable, but we can't ignore the clear references we have now.  So I think what I'll do is move the inside zipper requirement to Level 2.  I've made that edit in the OP, now.
 
You can probably add a zipper to your boots fairly inexpensively, without needing all new boots, if you want to go for Level 2, but this way you can still be approved without needing to change them.  (Assuming the LMOs don't disagree)

The CRL team has completed our work on the CRL text, and I'm updating the main post with the current draft text as soon as I finish typing this.
 
We have a few questions to resolve with @whitmers but this is nearly ready for submission to the LMOs.
 
WHITMERS: I believe your boots have a back zipper, but all the references we could find showed a zipper inside the leg, which is confirmed for S2 but not for S1.  Do you have any references that show the boots to have a back zipper, as opposed to inside?

I had excellent experience with Mazcave , highly recommend. 
Cummunication was great , Francesco was totally fine using my own fabric , the measurements guide was very detailed and despite initial waiting list of 4 month I have received my uniform in just 2

Honestly I'd just ask your GML.  I suspect only the pickiest would deny basic approval for something that small.

I’ve seen this happen a few times with CosPlaySky kits and it’s not really ideal, as to whether it will effect approval… well that’s really up to your GML. Personally I’ve requested applicants try and fix it a little first. 
This could sometimes be achieved by repositioning the yoke fasteners slightly.  They are usually just sew on snaps which can be removed and re-sewn into place fairly easily.

I appreciate the honesty. If it even has a chance to cause me to be disapproved, I'm getting it fixed before taking any pictures for my GML. Thankfully, there's a tailor in town that's pretty good and I don't believe a fix like this would take long, nor be terribly expensive at all. This uniform would simply be for basic approval. I intend to work with MazCave very soon to set up an order for a more long-term and professional-grade (possibly going for Executor/Imperator status a few months from now) uniform.

I apologize for the delay.  We are working on the CRL now and want to have a good draft in the next week or two.  We are also having the LMOs come in and take a look at the references to see if there is a clear path for this completion.  We appreciate your patience.

The fact still stands that the ‘rules’ aren’t applied consistently. There are enough examples of CRLs going through even recently that support this. 
We do have references for the back. 
Are they the best? No, but we have them. 
Can we hand on heart extrapolate the details? Based on the fact that some CRLs have come from comics and toys (not to mention that this is a fabric costume not entirely dissimilar to others we know so well) I also fully believe we can. 
 
I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again. 
At WORST, based on the evidence we have, there’s a missing seam or two. 
Not a thermal detonator, not a green armour butt-plate with a tail that shoots lasers. 
At BEST, the proposal is exactly right.
 
If, in the YEARS to come, we find out there is a missing seam we can update the CRL. This kind of thing happens all the time.
 
CRLs have been made using less reliable evidence that this.
