In The Empire Strikes Back, there is a Bridge Crew member on the Excelsior holding a note/data pad. He is seen after the Millennium Falcon escapes from Bespin, and a distraught Lord Vader walks off the bridge. Can anyone identify the device in his hand?

For harder-to-fit body types, I definitely recommend a company like Pilot Bay, which custom makes the suits to your measurements and stands behind their product. Very active troopers who really know their stuff, and the Legion requirements, thoroughly.
I agree, even though they are pricey, you know you will get a quality product that will fit correctly and stand up to numerous troops.

Does anyone know or make vinyl window decals of Imperial Navy Troopers? I know there is Vader and TK heads. I would love to have an INT decal for my back window on my car!

These are some of the best images from ANH of the Warrant Officer and a few Imperial Navy Troopers in Dress Uniform.

In the CRL for ANH Warrant Officer it states that for Executor approval Level 2, "ANH Warrant Officer shall not wear gauntlet style gloves." I found images from screengrabs that shows (what appears to be) a Warrant Officer in the Death Star corridor talking to several StormTroopers and Imperial Navy Troopers. The Officer has straight leg pants, Knobelbechers and Gauntlet style gloves. Can the CRL be reviewed and/or revised?

I still need to get some new photos for this. Also I need to move and resew the popper!

Would be Nice to have an R1 Navy Trooper option with Rank bars and Code cylinders, really dresses up a plain uniform.

Welcome to the Empire and the Imperial Navy, we are the strength and power of the Galactic Empire!

Might have to try this. My Knobelbechers are a little snug, I was hoping the leather would stretch over time but this seems like a better option than time.

Looks like they modeled the character after you! Nice.

Well, not yet. But soon. My black Imperial crew member flightsuit is ordered and has been shipped. Due to arrive on Monday. Just a tad concerned about the fit. May be big length wise. Won't know until I get it and try it on. But, either way, it is getting close.
Once flightsuit arrives, I will concentrate on the other items: hat, belt, com link, gloves, and eventually boots. Want to look around more first. I know Imperial Boots sells the ones for the Imperial crew, but I really want to aim for level three cert, so I want to get the requirement on the boots. Got some time though.
Ill probably finish this costume before receiving my TK kit. That's ok though. Once kit is received, I'm in no rush. Just want to get 501 approved!!!!!
My Imperial Bridge Crew is level 3 approved. The cap I ordered from Pilot Bay, they are on Facebook and Jolly Roger Squadron (they also make flightsuits and compads). My belt I ordered from Tigg-wolf creations, you can find them here and on JRS. For Belt Boxes and Dosimeters I went with Philoprops on Etsay, he is from the Italian Garrison and ships fast. If you plan on getting a blaster and need a holster, I recommend Darman's Props I got my E-11 and DH-17 holsters in a couple of days of ordering. The hard part is the German Knobelbekers, the correct ones have an adjustment strap that widens to the back. I wear a 10.5 and got lucky on EBay. Depending on your boot size, you may have to hunt around. If you are going to try and get your Bridge Crew to level 3, you want to make sure the flightsuit has the pointed collar and get iron on Vinyl Cogs. There is a member here that has those available. Just remember, you don't need your costume at Level 3 to be a member of the 501st Legion. Leveling up your costume should only be for the individual's own satisfaction.

I'll shop around for some industrial Velcro this week... hahaha one more thing to add to the list! I feel like this is one of those hobbies that has endless lists. Thanks for the advice!
I used velcro removed from unnecessary pockets and E6000 glue. worked good and keeps the buckle straight.

Pointing generally is the go to pose. You can also do the "Vader is angry at your insolence and force choking you" pose. if you are an Imperial Navy Trooper, you can just stand with arms crossed at chest level. mostly just have fun with it.

When you say "popper," do you refer to the snap?

That's okay now, if you can keep these in place, we see the improvements.
Thanks for removing the holster to match the requirements of the current CRL. The blousing on the trousers seems to be acceptable, however there seems to be an excessive amount of bunching around the waist of the jacket, this could be down to the fact the jacket isn't as tailored as it might be (2 of my 3 uniforms required adjustments to the jacket), or if you are lucky you could get away with pulling it straight below the belt - if you can get someone else to assist you after you have attached the belt, pulling the jacket down firmly - that would greatly enhance the look of the uniform.
Another point you may need to address, is the popper on your right shoulder as the jacket closure doesn't seem to sit correctly on the shoulder - strangely enough I have had to move the popper on each of my jackets; however this might be remedied by starching and ironing the jacket.
I sincerely apologise for sounding excessively picky but these are the qualities and details we are looking for at this level, we like the pictures to be as good as possible, because we believe this encourages to 'up your game' at troops and show your uniform in the best light.
I can post the original photos if you would l

Don't worry about sounding picky, you don't. Besides if you didn't critic then how would we strive to improve our costumes. Will work on those issues and get new pics later. Thanks

resubmitting for Executor Level with updated images

I glued velcro straps on the belt and inside buckle to keep everything straight and prevent belt slippage. I used E6000 adhesive and clamped in together until cured, 24hrs. Works good.

I currently have an Imperial Navy Trooper helmet, that I purchased from An0rak and was made by Jason "Banditt" Adams. I have seen recommendations by BJ and others to trim the skirt more parallel to the back of the helmet (for Level 3 approval). My question is, how or what should I use to trim the skirt? I don't want to mess up and break the plastic. Thanks.
