Being honest, I feel like there's a case to be made that there is a blue tip on that. It's certainly not clear that there is nothing on the top of the cylinder in that photo. But it's such a small photo it's hard to be certain.

These were the approved code cylinder from a previous CRL pic.
 

 
This Bast and Tagge code cylinders are a little narrower and don't have a raised section.

My opinion for what it's worth, those boots may look good while you're riding a horse, but they probably aren't good for Trooping for long periods. Plus, all the ones I've seen look just like what they are: Rubber Boots. If you're going to portray an Officer of the Empire, you need to look your best, and only good, shiny leather boots will do. Are leather riding boots expensive? They can be, but there are good deals out there.

Unf.  I need a towel.  Gorgeous DL44 you have there!  I hope mine turns out half as good!  I'm using a Denix base, too.  Possibly with a dmachinist completion kit, since Imperialist is offline for a couple months.  Although I'm a bit intrigued by the Todd's Costumes kit, too.
