Looking at that I think you may be ok best thing is to put it on with all accessories and go from there

Two things missing for that: new rank bar, belt boxes.

Edit: otherwise I would have provided some pictures for the CRL already ;)

  2. Hi all!

I received a wrong coloured tunic from CosplaySky when I ordered a new uniform for my Krennic WIP. My thought was to cut the yoke so that it comes no longer over the shoulder and after that sew together the code cylinder pockets to make them disappear. Do you think it would be correct for an ISB tunic (ANH style) after these alterations?

    Thanks and greetings!

  3. Well, I would say there is no special distance for the princess seams of the ISB tunic because there is also no special distance for the other officer tunics.

Why don't you have a look at some WIP threads were you can see the back of the peoples tunic so that you get an idea how it might look :)

I just had a look at my Grand Admiral tunic and the distance goes from 10cm at the seam running the enite circumfence of the tunic to 12,5cm at the bottom hem of the tunic.

  4. Looks good so far!

I just recognized while watching "Star Trek the Motion Picture" the last time, that James Kirk wore that style of epaulets first, but on a terrible uniform :P

Good luck with your build and keep us informed!

Cool my patches are in a different configuration but i like what you have done too

I thought that the rank bar should be at the place where it belongs to ;)

Thanks to all of you! I'm very happy with it :D

  6. Thanks to @nocternus I bought the same green Jacket as he did. At easter I got the new IOC patch from @AgnesAUT also including the rank bar patch from @Crocoboxer.

I sewed both on the jacket and I think it looks quite cool. I'm ready for the next outdoor mission ;)

Last thing missing are the X-Wing style code cylinders. I'm going to buy them when I order the missing stuff for my Krennic Uniform :D

So I just met up with my Garrison mate, and although I didnt go to Celebration this year, I did manage to get a copy of Thrawn!!! As a bonus, its signed by Timothy Zahn!!! I am so happy that I got my hands on a copy of this exclusive, especially since they sold out and there was a bit of a fiasco regarding its sale

"Bit of a fiasco" You're telling me! :P But I'm happy for you! Have fun with it, it looks great :)

We had the difficulty of this conversation on colour for Krennic. I think all the screen images are not white as white can be, as most of he time it doesn't look good on screen. However, White is an easy standard to impose. Otherwise you get varying degrees of cream/ivory/off white and it no longer looks uniform.

What she said.  And if you put it up picture to picture against the old ISB picture (I don't have the old VD, so I can't show you, but it was shown to me at a con) Jeems tunis is WHITE.  Like 5000 gallons of bleach white compared to the old ISB tunic.

Alright ;) so bright white then :P

  9. Well if he has to shave he could also do Jeems :P why not making the special look of Jeems L2 and the generic ISB Officer L1, like we do it on the Staff Officers with the special rank bars from ANH to reach L2? (And by the way, I still think that the R1 ISB tunic is creme-white like the ANH style ;) )

  10. I agree with James.

I think regarding the requirements for the tunic we should refer to the other officer CRLs where there is no problem with the number of snaps and buttons. It worked pretty well and everyone is able to do this things how it fits best at the individual person.

Other than that, I can't see any of your pictures because Photobucket is trash - might move them to Imgur - but sounds like you're on the right track.

Thanks for this, I was looking for some time to find a platform that works better ;)
