You can get them all day long on eBay. Just search for "flight jacket." They will pop right up.

I already got the link from Kris.

But thank you for your suggestion!

Hey Stefan, out of curiosity, how long do your contacts last? Is there an expiration date? Also, what do you do to keep them lasting longer?

I agree at most parts with kman.

I had to buy two pairs and now the second pair is still original packed and unopened. I think they should at least last for about two years.... but maybe longer.

The pair I already used are kept in the little Container (I don't know the proper term) and I change the liquid every month to keep them fresh.

That is very true. We'll see what my optometrist says.

The limiting factor for me is safety. I really dont like the idea of using "cheap" Halloween contact lenses. My main priority is keeping my eyes safe. If I can find a pair of red contacts that I trust and are safe, Thrawn is complete!! If not, well... it doesnt look as good, but at least I can still see.

Trust me, good contacts are worth it. Mine were about 140,-€ and they are excellent. I know I look great, I know I can see without problems and I know my eyes are safe and stay healthy.

Well....   I know a guy in Germany...  well, the old CO :P
I'm thinking it would be easier for him to bring something back to Germany and mail than me to mail from the US, but if push comes to shove and you can't find anyone else, let me know.

    Well I don't know him...

But it would be really great if you would do it :D I don't think the costs for shipping would kill me. When does the celebration take place?

Hahaha I was thinking about asking the same thing... if anyone is willing

You can always try and ask, no one is going to bite you (at least not via the forum) ;)

OK last one for tonight - I'll tackle diagramming all the other seams later, but here's how the Arm Slit openings are made. If you know how to make a bound buttonhole, it is very similar. And of course there's a layer of fabric underneath everything to fill in/close up the opening so you can't really put your arm through it (probably so it didn't gap open all the time). It's way, way past my bedtime - more later!

I do really appreciate your work!! Thanks a lot!

More diagramms of the other seams are a great idea, english is a second language to me so a picture or diagramm always helps to understand the way it is done ;)
