I'm not surprised that Rebels wouldn't deal with the Battle of Scarif. 
 
I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Thrawn. Do they kill him off? I hope not

I just checked the last episode of season 3 he has a central seam in that, do you have any pictures of him with traditional princess seams?

I'll probably wait until I get the boots then make a decision on taking them in, more tapered would probably be better.

There is already a more "real life" CRL for Thrawn. People are still able to follow that instead. However if they want to do the Thrawn from Rebels, I believe it should look like the Thrawn from Rebels and not have extra pieces thrown in cause it's what we assume they would have done with a bigger budget to make it more true to life.

If you want fancy epaulets and greeblies, I'd look into the existing CRL. This one isn't designed to replace it, but be a different look altogether.

Thank you for SO much help . . it is your build I've been stalking the most!  Will try and get some of the casual shots I have onto a service so there's at least some eyeballing that can be done!

Whoever submits the first application then gets the honour of working with the Detachment to write the CRL. That then goes to the LMO and can get changed. It could be what you see here, but if someone submits a different CRL it could be based on that and have no relation to this. Also, anything here in the forum is likely to be at least tweaked by the LMO team.

So you will pretty much never be sure that what's on the forum discussed here will be the final CRL that goes live.

You have to have someone who finishes the costume to a standard that it is passable before any of the above happens, even if there is a version that most people on the forum are happy with. So until someone finishes the costume and it goes through the process (which took several weeks, even after an agreed upon CRL here on the forum), the CRL won't be known for sure. I say this having just done this with Pryce, as even I didn't know what the CRL would say despite effectively writing or tweaking almost everything in it until it was live.

Honestly though, I don't think you should wait for a CRL. No matter what the CRL says the ultimate resource is the source material. So as long as you make a costume that looks like the character, you should be ok.

You're at the mercy of other people's timeframes if you wait. If you want to push the CRL forward in a meaningful way, you need to make the costume.

I would steam your flares to take any wrinkles out first. Then iron on the interfacing, but you need to be sure the flares are 100% dry before ironing on the interfacing or it can cause areas not to adhere.

Finally put together a case for all my extra stuffs.  A friend gave me her old camera case - I'll probably replace the foam after a while, I got quick and inexpensive on the pick and pull foam, and while it works, moving it in and out shows why it was so inexpensive

I note that the source for many of these "unseen" seams is various costume displays where screen-used costumes were on display (particularly with respect to various officer uniforms).  Whether or not we could see them on screen in the actual movie, due to the quality of the video, lighting, etc., they have been shown to be present in high quality photos taken of the various costumes while they were on display at various shows.

It's exactly like Krennic's. It covers most of the neck and probably doesn't have square corners meeting under the chin as it's clearly angled in.

I think the patch sitting on top is better than the underneath one.

I think v2 is a lot closer, but the rounded edges of v1 seem more accurate.
