Keep in mind that the rank bars in Rebels' are quite stylistically different from those in the Original Trilogy.
 
Using the FISD as an example - While to the general public "a Stormtrooper is a Stormtrooper is a Stormtrooper"... they see no difference between them, yet we have unique CRLs for ANH Stunt, ANH Hero, ESB, ROTJ - yet they have recently created a whole Star Wars Rebels section on the forums to focus on the differences between the new Rebels TKs and those from Original Trilogy films - with a CRL in the making. (Mark & Kris can I have a Rebels area for us to talk Rebels in - pretty please )
 
So granted while it's good to have easy entrance position we also need to keep in mind the unique parts of the costume - or else we just get a whole heap of Original Trilogy Officers running around calling themselves Rebels Era and then we look silly in front of the Legion.
 
On your first point - That's one of the things I am doing with this project is to not just make a costume, get approved and look awesome  but to also find sources for the unique parts.

As I said its a personal thing id like Thrawn to remain unique

I am finally watching Season 3, and I am almost all caught up. I seriously cant wait to see Through Imperial Eyes. Sounds like a good one!!

Yeah.  Actually a lot of people are lopsided.  One side is bigger than the other - feet, hands, legs, arms, chest, etc.  Not everyone, but that's why CGI still looks CGI to a lot of people - our minds can tell there's something wrong when someone is perfectly symmetrical.

I received my blaster today from @Notlewis (great work btw  ) and I definitely recommend belt hooks, because the blaster, or at least the one I have, is quite heavy. So I think it would be a good way to keep belt, holster and blaster in place where they should be

My research into this costume continues and below are a few of the additional things I have noticed or found out
 
I have noticed, the belt hook is visible during the film, when Krennic is with Tarkin and they have the test fire on Jedha, he has his arms folded and you can see it, right at the bottom of the screen
The majority of the capes have a squared off seems at the bottom of the centre split, however I have found the following with rounded seems

other research I have been doing is reading Catalyst, great read, I've seen a question in here, if he is ever seen with just his hat and no cape or rain coat.
There is a scene in Catalyst where Krennic is Lieutenant Commander and he meets with Lyra Erso and there is no cape or rain coat but he is described as wearing his cap, so just thought I would put that out there.

Welcome Steve!! Glad to hear that another wants to join the Circle of Grand Admirals here at the IOC!! You do not need to be Thrawn to have an approved Grand Admiral uniform. There is a generic (Legends) Grand Admiral CRL available. I believe some are currently working on a Rebels-era Grand Admiral uniform as well, as there are notable differences between the two.

I just started reading it last night (after reading several in-depth reviews of it), and I'm loving all the insight into Krennic's character. It is such a fascinating read. I'm looking forward to seeing Rogue One again after finishing the book.

Yes, RO isn't EU, and will probably get it's own section within the OT. Right now, it was just placed somewhere so people didn't have to look all over. The IOC is growing so rapidly in both members, and costumes, it isn't always easy to initially place things in a spot where they make the most sense.  Not to mention that when this site was made, there was only the OT, the Prequels, and the EU which was where everything else was placed. 

As an FYI, it has been submitted to LMO per the last conversation I had with BJ - so let's not spam his mailbox please - if he or the LMO need something else they'll let me know, but from what I was told it's at Legion level at the moment.
