Non-canon, I'll agree with the majority, the original Thrawn trilogy.
New Canon books, I really like Bloodline, it did a good job setting up the politics of the New Republic and the environment in which the First Order could be allowed to rise. It answered a lot of the questions I had been asking myself since first watching The Force Awakens.

So was there ever any updates on this? Are we ever going to see a Battlefront officer CRL?
Someone needs to make it first.

I believe an "army officer" would come under the line officer crl (olive green) not any of the staff officer variants (black)? In which case side arms are not an option.

-
I don't think any of the staff (security) officers in Rogue One or Solo wore holsters/ blasters?
-
It doesn't look to me as though Xodell is wearing the "Mimban Officer" uniform. I don't think he has a breastplate for a start. He seems to be more the standard line officer with optional trench coat.

Just remember that rubber blasters tend be heavier so can pull the belt down more than plastic or 3d printed.
From the looks of your other posts you're building a rebels Thrawn? I believe for his blaster 3d printed may be the only option at the moment.

It might just be shadow, but I dont think so. It would also make a lot more sense if the chest piece was built up behind the rank bar.

That's great work. So version 1 (ANH) wear holsters either side, version 2 (ESB) holster left side only.
Realistically is this something big enough to warrant changing the crl or would it be a level 3 pickup?
-
Hmmmm, I’m not sure. There is a dark “holster shaped thing” on the trooper’s left side but, if you zoom right in it doesn’t look to be attached to the Trooper? Is it a holster? I honestly don’t know.

It does mention that. I'm not sure if they were really wearing the holsters on whatever side they chose or if it was just from the film being flipped.
If it is from film being flipped then it should be possible to tell by looking at the tunic and whether the fastening comes up over the right shoulder or the left? Are there any screenshots of holsters being worn on the left side?
-
It also mentions that versions 1 and 2 can wear the holster on either side. Is this correct?

One of the TKs, and Shoretrooper
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkThey have the rogue one E11 which your wording is correct for, but no TKs or shoretroopers carry the E10.

I copied the Blaster CRLs from existing, already approved CRLs
Which crl was this because it is wrong.

It’s a minor thing but while the E11 has the flashlight on the right hand side of the barrel, on the E10 it is on the left.
-
Would this be a generic Mudtrooper officer or Beckett and the Lieutenant (forgot his name) as face characters?
There seems to be a lot of variation to make one crl for all of them.

A very cool scene, I like how the Navy troopers are ready to strike Han, dutiful
What blaster is that NT holding who advances a step towards Han?

If you're always going to be wearing the gauntlets then you can sew a small hoop of elastic on the cuff near the seam. This then goes over your thumb and stops the sleeve bunching up. I have this on my Biker Scout and TK undersuit and works well.

According to the official rank guide provided by Glyn Dillon (I think) the highest rank for "security branch" officers (staff officers) is 6 blue tiles which is both General and Colonel.
I dont recall whether we see this rank actually worn on screen though?

Dice can and will get things about the costumes wrong because they are making a 3d model not sewing an outfit so theirs doesn't need to work in real life, and I'm just advising that we shouldn't be following them too closely in our CRL's, but instead defer to the films when we see conflicts or things that simply won't work on a real costume.
By that rationale we shouldn’t be making crls based on anything from Rebels either then.

Is there a pattern available for this version of the holster?
