These look so cool!!

I was wondering if we could create a CRL for these guys. There are quite a few of them in the hallway and elevator scene in ANH. There are also two of them wearing IN helmets in scenes were Tarkin is standing in front of the death star viewing screen. Starwars.com uses a picture one of them in their death star trooper databank entry. I don’t think that is the best example of an IN but that is a different story. http://www.starwars.com/databank/death-star-troopers
 
I think this simple uniform could be a good alternative for people who want to have an IOC costume but have problems finding fitting officer boots or jackboots and think the ISB version with the regular trouser gets dirty to easily.

·         regular imperial leather belt
·         no belt boxes
·         no gloves
·         black dress shoes without shoe laces or buckles
·         olive straight legged trousers / dress slacks
·         olive tunic
·         no code cylinder pockets
·         no code cylinders
·         no rank bar
·         no weapon
·         no holster

I made them.  I cut a triangle and rectangle out of a plastic "for sale" sign and painted them with Testors buff and rub aluminum paint, and then glued them to another piece of white plastic as the backing, and glued pins back on. 

Welcome Steve!! Glad to hear that another wants to join the Circle of Grand Admirals here at the IOC!! You do not need to be Thrawn to have an approved Grand Admiral uniform. There is a generic (Legends) Grand Admiral CRL available. I believe some are currently working on a Rebels-era Grand Admiral uniform as well, as there are notable differences between the two.

Thought some people here might think this is pretty cool. Barnes and Noble will release two posters for Aftermath: Empire's End. One of these posters is of Grand Admiral Rae Sloane!!! The other is of Nora Wexley. Check it out!!

For rank bars, TiggWolf (look them up either here on the forums or on Facebook) is probably your best bet. I have one of theirs, and its awesome!!

For code cylinders, perhaps look up PhiloProps. Look him up here on the forums or on Etsy. If you are a bit more daring, you can try making your own code cylinders using Strongbow's tutorial. Im giving that tutorial a try. Doesnt seem too hard. If I fail, Ill buy a pair of Philo's.

I don't think they're actually on the website.  And they were called something funky, if I recall.  Took quite a while for the guy who worked there to actually find them, at my Lowe's, but they did have them, buried in a drawer on the fastener aisle, as I recall.  I bought two, so I'll see if I can find out what the package says when I get home, if I remember.

If it would benefit anyone, while making my clips, I scaled the scanned image of the clip parts in this excellent tutorial and made a CAD drawing. The attached PDF file is a cluster of two complete clips. Dimensionally, it should be identical to the original clip image. If you find it lacking in any way, let me know. I can easily make changes.
 
Choose the "actual size" option when printing. Reference dimensions in inches and millimeters are present to verify printed scale.

Just to add to this, depending on what uniform you want to do, if you require a hat, you can ask CosplaySky to send you extra material that matches your uniform to make an accurate matching hat. I dont remember how much the extra material costs but its a bit pricey.
