so walking around my local walgreens today and I found a general veers black series figure!!!!! finally after searching for so long I have finally added a fine addition to my collection (of course a grevious quote) finally I now have all the new black series imperial officers! Now on to the Grand Admiral Thrawn 3.75 animated figure!!!!!

Perfect like on the first day.

I wash all my tunics and jodhpurs from CS (I have a black and white uniform) with 30°C program and a mild detergent, without any other clothes in the machine. It works perfectly. After washing I hang my tunics on a clothes hanger to dry, et voilá

I've heard both dry clean only and go ahead and throw it in the washing machine.  A friend of mine dry cleans his.  I wasn't going to, because I have a pair of work pants made of the same material (which ending up doubling as straight-leg pants for some additional officer costumes), and I throw them in the regular wash- I've had them for some time now and have seen no ill effects from said washing process.  But I will say I haven't washed my officer (CosplaySky) yet, so I have no personal experience with the actual tunic and pants.  (It hasn't been worn a ton yet, and not yet in summer when it will really need a wash).  
 
I would recommend a more gentle/cooler (not super hot) wash and not nuking the hell out of it in the dryer if you do it yourself, maybe even damp dry and air dry the rest.  If you added interfacing on the punch outs on the pants, it will be toast after a dry cleaning and need to be replaced.  Depending on how heavy it is, it might last a home machine was or two.  (Luckily that stuff is cheap, so it's not a huge deal to re-do it).  

I use the Dryel product and it works well for mine. Just put it in the bag with one of the cleaning cloths and put it in the dryer, and it comes out as fresh as a trip to the dry cleaners.

I got one from Q's Prop Shop.  He's on these forums.  They have lights, sound, and are really, really awesome.  I'd recommend.

I'm probably stating the obvious here, but that's a DH17 Blaster in the above picture, not an E11. Though if you watch the entire scene, it wasn't holstered, as he picks it up off the console. So an argument could be made that it's not standard issue for Staff Officers. I believe this is why it's optional in the CRL for ANH Staff Officers.

Yeah, there's just the two photos of Staff officers with a DH17, and they're not from scenes that are ever on screen.  Otherwise, no blaster, or MSP5, for Staff.  But that's why the DH17 is allowed.  But MSP5 is preferred, since it's the one you normally see.  Generally, both blasters fit in the same holster, fortunately, so you don't really need multiples.  If you already have a DH17, start with that, and pick up the MSP5 when you can.
 
As for the detention block Staff officer, he grabs the blaster off the counter and uses that.  He didn't have a blaster of his own.

You see the ANH INT's wearing DH-17's and E-11's.  The only blaster you see officers wearing in the Merr Sohn Power 5 and that particular officer wasn't wearing a holster at all.

He grabs a DH17 from the console - I don't believe he is wearing a holster on his belt.

Well done and congrats. The first one is always something a bit of a initiation rite for most members.
 
Once you get through the first, theres no stopping and you will most certainly be aching to get on with the next one asap
