I did a charity party recently in my TIE Pilot and a person called me Darth Vader. I have heard this is super common among TIE Pilots so much so there is a patch from the JRS that says #NOTVADER

Looks awesome! In regards to your pant legs puffing up at the top of your boots, a great option I use, is adopted from the military. Boot Blousers. Just tuck and fold your pant ends around your ankles nice and snug and wrap the blousers around the ankles. It keeps your pants nice and snug inside your boots and are Velcro, so you can adjust them if they are too tight. You can find them on Amazon or any military surplus shop and they are really inexpensive.

Yes, I'm sure no one would mind.

But actually, I interpret "optional" as meaning that I may or may not carry a weapon that is listed in the CRL, right?
But weapons that are not even listed in the CRL are simply not part of this costume...
 
And I think that's a pity especially for this costume...because as far as I know, it would be the first (imperial) costume that would be allowed to wear this blaster.

I’d love to carry an A280 as a Navy Trooper, no idea why it’s not on the CRL, especially with them in a Imperial gun rack and being used in battle.

I feel like we discussed this earlier in the year, but can't remember if we reached a decision... and I can't find the thread either.

Weapons are optional, after all. If it's OK with your unit, go ahead and troop with it.
I would not be against it being added to the CRL, but do keep in mind, CRLs are not designed to describe or spell out every singe possible detail or circumstance, i.e. "Navy Troopers shall have their boots on their feet & not wear pauldrons or capes", so don't be too hard on them.

I've a question about the CRL of the Imperial Navy Trooper:
What is the reason for this costume to have an BlasTech DL-21?
I only know three scenes in RotJ, where you can see this weapon (really only very short to see):
 

 

 

 
Ok, this is of course quite clear to see...
...but just for really few seconds and not a single shot was fired.

Should/could the BlasTech A280 then not also be included in the CRL?

The CRL might need an update after this episode of the Mandalorian. We can clearly see a SE-14R handled by two officers!
 

We also see a “staff officer” piloting a Gozanti.  Get ready for the JRS to try and poach   

Even I have been called Vader when wearing my Gunner! So not just Tie pilots!

not at the moment unfortunately. I'm picking up my uniform from the cleaners tomorrow. When I get it, ill post a pic! 

yup, it was a quick fix at time, but it works so well I never got rid of it.

Imperial-tastic - I've got that set along with lots of other SW Battle Packs, building SW LEGO is good.
