I'm looking forward to get the news of the accepted/approved CRL, Joshua keeps me updated.
It's always difficult to be patient until the final "go"  .

But thanks a lot so far for all the support and the help to bring Beehaz to life. Wolf enjoyed wearing the uniform at SWCE and at Cruachan Dam in Scotland (original Aldhani location).

I did get an update this morning about changing the Face L2 requirement.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):
Facial appearance and hair match very closely to that of Stanley Townsend. They asked to remove his name and make it something generic like "matches the onscreen character."
Thinking on it, the whole L2 requirement is redundant, so I removed it.

Most of the IOC face character CRLs do not mention this, but GM Tarkin and Moff Gideon do.
Admiral Tarkin's says "must look like Admiral Tarkin from the cartoon".

    Regardless, we are almost there.

Please visit the Detachment website for more specific details.

This CRL is a work in progress and is not yet ready to use for any approval!
Required Costume Components The following costume components are present and appear as described below.

A band with a silver military trim runs across the front of the hat and is approximately 0.39" (10 mm) to 0.59" (15 mm) wide. The band is hidden by the rear flap at the back of the head. The color of the trim matches the Gala belt/sash trim Base of the hat is conical, with a crown about 4" (101.6 mm) tall. Tunic, Olive with Black Fabric is a medium weight Olive/Field grey colored suiting material matching the trousers (and hat, if present). Cavalry Twill or a Gabardine style weave is most accurate. The most accurate color is“Feldgrau¨, or “Field grey”, which is a greenish-gray color, close to Olive. Tunic is double-breasted with a left over right closure on the tapered yoke. Yoke comes up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam. The standing collar has square corners, is between 1.25" (31.8 mm) to 2" tall, and closes snugly. The wearer's neck must not be visible between the closed collar edges. A modesty panel behind the collar closure is recommended to help with this, but is not required. Collar edges are closed together in front with two eye hooks. There are code cylinder pockets on both outside panels of the jacket, from about half way between the top and bottom on the arm hole. Tunic has long sleeves which are without decoration, cuffs or buttons. Sleeves contain 2 seams. One along the bottom and one along the back. Tunic is constructed with no top-stitching (stitches visible on the exterior surface of fabric). Fasteners on the uniform should not be visible. Uniform is to be pressed and free of a wrinkled appearance.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a dart in the top center of the tunic; this dart is between 2 inches (50.8mm) and 3 inches (76.2mm in length. There is a seam running the entire circumference of the tunic, dividing it along a seam line which should be hidden by the uniform belt. The front placket of the tunic may omit this seam only if the uniform belt is worn in a manner which conceals the omission. Belt hooks are present. The back of the tunic has princess seams that run vertically and turn outward to intersect the arm-hole seam at the vertical center. OPTIONAL Level three certification (if applicable): Tunic is secured on the right side by snaps or buttons, not Velcro. A lining is sewn in.

Ceremonial Cape, Version Two Fabric is a medium weight water resistant material with structure such as heavy canvas, wool, or similar. Light grey seams are visible. A single seam is running around the whole cloak, 4 cm from the edge. The back of the cloak reaches from the shoulders to the ankle of the boots. The front of the cloak reaches from the shoulders to the wrists. Cloak has a collar that is approximately 4-5 cm tall, with no split in the middle. Attached to the collar are two rectangular matte silver rank bars, a thin edge running around. Two double seams running across the shoulder wedge. The front panel of the yoke does not have seams and is around 1 - 1.5 cm wide in the middle. The back panel of the yoke has a seam running around, 4 cm from the edge, no other seams. Cloak closes from left to right up across the shoulder to the top shoulder seam including the collar. Curved silver matte rank bars attached to the shoulders, a thin edge running around. No fixation visible. The back of the cloak is divided in the middle by an inverted pleat, starting at the edge of the yoke. An additional pleat is added left and right of the middle, the pleated section between 25-30 % wide in comparison to the yoke edge.
OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Cape collar edge must lie flush to tunic collar edge. Collar is made from plain black material.

The bar is approximately 1 inch (25.4 mm) to 1.25 inches (31.75 mm) in height. Rank bar is four blue tiles and two red tiles. Rank tile dimensions and spacing are appropriate and proportional to the sizing of the bar to allow for even spacing from each other and the border of the bar: Rogue One/Solo/Andor style rank tile dimensions are approximately 0.59 inches (15 mm) wide, 0.82 inches (21 mm) tall, and 0.12 inches (3.2 mm) deep. For transparency, I'm posting this here.
I spoke with @Callista about the belt boxes.  I know earlier in the thread there was talk about belt boxes. I initially thought they used Rogue One Boxes and the suggestion was to make the smaller Andor sized boxes a L2 requirement.
The belt boxes in the pictures above are OT sized and too large.  So, we are making sure they get the correct boxes.

    EDIT: The boxes are correct.

The belt boxes have broader applications other than just Beehaz.
It's clear the andor boxes are a wee bit smaller.

Rogue One boxes: 76.2mm tall, 50.8 mm wide, 25.4mm deep, made from metal and have square corners.
Andor boxes are 67mm tall, 45mm wide and 25mm deep, made from resin, painted, and have notched corners.

Most folks trooping would rather have metal ones over resin because...it's stunt vs hero. The metal looks better in real life and will hold up better for years of trooping. We don't have to be "prop accurate" here, but that also should not be discouraged.

I think L2 or 3 would be good for andor sized boxes.

We will, of course, need to change the existing CRLs to allow for Andor boxes. It's been on my to do list for weeks.

Belt box - is that the OT version of the belt box? (I'm terrible at reading these sizes). If so, might want to swap that out to a smaller version of the belt box as seen in the non-saga shows.

Once the costume is finished, I'll need detail photos of each and every component, as well as the standard CRL poses (front and back). We will then alert the LMO office and they will create the wiki for us to fill in.
I will take the text that's already written and plug it in there with the photos. Once that is complete, they do a final review.

Today another fitting and last details checked by watching „the eye“ another five times.
The boots from Crowprops will arrive tomorrow and end of March everything is ready.
Now that we are coming close to the approval request, how is it working since the CRL isn’t yet in the Database?
Are we applying in the German Garrison and our GMOs get in contact with you?

Some things should go without saying, but we live in an age where we do have to say things. I will cross post this in the Officer's Mess too.

At no times will this detachment be a home or accepting to people that are friendly to or espouse the ideas behind fascism, Nazism or any totalitarian ideology. We dress up as fictional space bad guys. Conflating any of the above with doing that is not only morally wrong, it puts at risk what we do here in this detachment and the legion as a whole. We will not allow such a risk.

I have spoken to members who have belonged to reenacting groups that have had those ideologies come into them. That will not be permitted here, not under this administration. And if that day ever comes that it would be allowed, I would hope you would join me in finding another hobby.

There will be no litmus tests for members. If you are a reenactor, I hope you enjoy doing it and I hope you keep the ideology out of it. There is no conversation over re-enacting that you cannot take private. And if you are an open adopter of the ideologies listed above, no one wants to hear it...ever. If you see something in violation of this, please contact the staff and we will deal with it promptly.
