At that point why not just buy one from Tigge?

I've always loved the Imperial Officers from the films. They have always stuck in my head as a child.
I think they look really good especially with stormtroopers and Darth Vader.
Oh another one is my father is a stormtrooper... so I can boss him around

Watching the movies, I always loved the imperial officer uniforms. Not as random or clumsy as a rebel uniform.  An elegant uniform for a more civilized age  . I am not a big tall buff guy that would look appropriate in a Vader outfit, nor am I short enough where I would make a convincing Jawa. I felt right wearing the unform. Outside of the 501st, I have always been known to overdress to occasions, and love to rock a nice dress shirt with a suit and tie. Carrying that to the Star Wars world, I feel that Imperial Officers were the best dressed and sleek looking. They also put up with a lot of Vader's crap, which takes discipline lol.  Apart from my Staff and ISB Officers, I also sport a Snowtrooper, and am almost done with my TK, but my heart will always belong to the IOC.

I was lucky enough to come across some unwanted snowtrooper parts which, over time, I was able to convert into Veers armor. It was a lot of work, but worth it. Like the guys have mentioned, ACD is ultimately the best place to source most of the bits you'll need.

The statue game can be good and bad. At a recent troop, I was standing very still in my Royal Guard, when a policeman smacked the side of my helmet very hard, saying "this one almost looks real". My reflex reaction was to smack the crap out of him across the chest with my force pike. It didn't hurt him because it's just hollow plastic, but it scared him enough to hopefully not go around smacking expensive props (alive or not) like a moron.

[MODERATOR NOTE: THIS RANK CHART THREAD IS NOW CONSIDERED OBSOLETE.  PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING THREAD FOR THE CURRENT RANK CHART USED BY THE IOC: ]

    [/END OF MODERATOR NOTE]

This the official guide to illustrate all canon officer ranks recognized by the IOC. It is compiled with reference from the original movies, and official EU sources. It is created from a costuming point of view, and not meant to explain every rank's importance or how they differ from movie to movie (that's what fan fiction is for). It is just a simple chart that shows what rank officially goes on what costume. Code cylinders are intentionally excluded, and can be referenced in the CRLs.

Note Rogue one/Solo ranks are only compatible with Rogue one uniform style

COMMAND STAFF EDIT: There is a more current/comprehensive rank bar guide in this location:
(We are keeping this post intact for the time being)

I know, right? It's like the game designers are telling us "hey, we could make this stuff uber-accurate if we wanted to, but will still make it our own creation".

Do you think it's best to say "notch", or perhaps "slightly rounded"? Some people might interpret "notch" as a small chunk out of it. Maybe also include the tiny pin-holes mentioned, in L3.   Looking great so far!

I'd also keep the lining in there and if it's just for the wearing comfort. We haven't seen an open uniform in the game and I think it'll stay this way, but IMO we can assume they'd add it.

I though a bit about the collar and the modesty panel. And from a technical point of few the modesty panel would make sense to achieve a clean look. Why that? At a regular imperial tunic we have the closure of the double breast on the right shoulder. So all the downward-pull will not effect the collar because the double breast's upper edge rund around the front part of the collar and gets slighty pushed against it.

In case of the Versio-tunic the double breast is closed underneath the collarbone of the tunic which enables the downward-pull to effect the collar closure. This downward-pull might cause the collar to stand open which could harm the clean look of the screen-caps.

I tried to show what I mean in this picture:

So maybe a modesty panel could be made recommended for the clean look of the collar-closure even though it will not be a strict requirement for the costume. But the collar-closrue should look clean of course even without the modesty panel.

    Hi there everyone.

I just want to make a quick announcement about the CRL process.  Since we have a new LMO rep this year and a New LMO in charge of the LMO office, there will be a brief delay in any updates for new CRL being finalized or published.  Hopefully by mid March, things will be up and running.  However, that doesn't mean the preliminary work in this forum needs to stop.

Thanks for all the great input.

Perfect IC 431 it will be then.
It was just in ANH they call out TK421 and then I looked on the (all knowing Internet) and read one of the scanner crew was called BT445. But that info was not checked so I wanted to ask here.

This is what I think too. It would be nice to see a new costume like this for Flagship, given his clothing and affiliation, but just being "Thrawn", and a soft costume, I could totally see him come here too. But, whichever, it would be a fun costume to see.

When I first saw who Hux was, I really thought (actor-wise) he would not be believable as a general. His age might put him more realistically at being a (Army) captain or maybe major at the most, but when I saw his performance in TFA, I knew I liked him. There are brief moments in TLJ where his behavior is somewhat in question compared to his portrayal in TFA, but I mostly get where they were going with him. I still like him, and I'm glad he kept the coat.
