Hello Cedric!
For any New to the Legion costume, you will need to email the references and your photos to lmo@501st.com to initiate the process.
It seems the hardest part is take care of - making the uniform.
Best of luck!

I'll post photos after work, but for my Admiral Konstantine (unofficial) configuration, I used metal parts with magnets on the inside of the collar.

I hear you! IOC 4 LIFE!!!
But even though that uniform would be an officer, it isn't Imperial or First Order. Or even Republic just before order 66.
I think that's where the line so to speak is for inclusion at IOC.
Like I said, see what the Flagship detachment thinks. If they think it belongs here, I can talk to them and the LMOs and see what's what.

Very cool uniform! I consulted with the LMO office, and they think it would fit better at .The Flagship Eclipse. I'd check in with them and see what they think.
Good luck with your build!!!

I neglected to update everyone. The CRL was tweaked.
At the moment the only change was to the rank bar entry.
I'm at work and can't copy the text into here, but if you click the CRL you'll see what has changed.

That makes sense, though I did a quick search. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Sheckil shows that in ESB, an Imperial Lieutenant had double bar rows while in the Staff Officer uniform. Unless I'm completely mistaken in that point, in which I apologize, since I'm slightly tired.
He's wearing olive green. That photo is a little dark, but here is the same person....
-
I'd have to double check, but that rank sounds right.
Even though it is accepted at basic, I never recommend people do double row bars on a Staff Officer (black). In the films, they didn't wear them. There are examples of it in other references, I don't deny that and am not here to re-litigate that point.
It just bugs the poo doo out of me to see it. Personal preference.
For Staff Officers, I've been steering folks towards Rogue One/Solo variants. In ANH, the Staff Officers wear completely different uniforms. And there aren't Staff Officers in ESB or RotJ. But there are in R1 and Solo.
But it's all up to you.
-
Black uniformed officers in RotJ would be Warrant Officers. They (in that movie at least) didn't wear any rank insignia.
So you'd be looking for the olive green. Again in RotJ, all the Line Officers wore the same rank bar; Three red over three blue.
-
I too struggle with the answer here. The staff officer CRL is due for a major update. Not necessarily the content of it - seams and what not. But Now that there is the ANH Staff Officer CRL, the existing one really doesn't make sense.
There aren't "staff officers" in ESB or RotJ. The black uniform appears, but as a warrant officer or navy trooper.
There are that style staff officers in Rogue One and Solo. Maybe not Solo? The "social" variant is, but now I can't remember seeing a proper staff officer there.
Anyway, my gut says you should build your Staff Officer towards what is seen in Rogue One, unless you're building the specific new ANH CRL.

I agree. Like I said, an easy fix for the time being.
One that I believe has been implemented now.
Thanks @Hask!

The entire current Staff Officer CRL needs an overhaul. But it'll take time, and has to wait it's turn.
However, a little tweak of the text might be a short term fix.

Excellent news!
Thank you!
Point on wearing the coat open though - the Major is wearing the coat open when he gets blown up. There are several screen shots to that effect in the CRL discussion - there are shots of it being open from Rogue One - which I believe I posted because the lighting was better to see the structure of the coat.
Overall tho I’m happy that so many of my recommendations were adopted thanks for taking the time to review this.

I'm happy to look at the open coat again. Were those images in this thread? (I'd imagine they are)

Alright gang!
Okay, here is what I think can be changed.
The name. I actually like the idea of calling it, "Imperial Army Officer: Mimban". Not a big change, but it seems to fit well.
The rank bar entry.
Lvl 1
- Wearer may use any Imperial Army Rank bar as seen in Solo (single row)
- Translucent plastic tiles mounted on a metal bar and worn on the left side of the upper chest.
Lvl 2
- Must use Army Lieutenant (2 red tiles followed by 1 blue) or Army Major (3 red tiles followed by 2 blue)
Lvl 3
- Must use Army Lieutenant (2 red tiles followed by 1 blue)
Trench coat entry
Lvl 1 unchanged until last bullet point
- Collar may have a brown fur (or faux fur) collar lining.
Lvl 2 unchanged
Lvl 3
- Collar must have a brown fur (or faux fur) collar lining.
I believe this is holds to the spirit of what is being discussed. It doesn't address wearing the coat open, as (unless I missed something) the reference for that was from Rogue One, not Solo.
This would also let someone wear a Solo Captain's rank bar at level one, which I think is fair.
What does everyone else think?
Also, the question raised within the CRL Team was will we need to add a photo of the Major rank bar. I think we would want to. If anyone has one made (with the larger R1/Solo buttons) and wants to send a photo we can move forward.

That is a prodigious number of troops my man! To keep up that pace is impressive. Most impressive.

That should be simple enough then. @Chargrilled if you'd be so kind as to email those photos to lmo@501st.com I think that's all we need.

The mixer was smallish, but it was nice. We had the area closest to the concourse in the Arc Bar. I was able to present Mark with a gorgeous plaque that Hawk had made. And Mark passed Admiral Winston into my care. He's on a shelf watching me now.

I like it!
I've been stuck on the couch for two days and drinking cold medicine like it's gonna get banned.
Sorry bout that.
I say it's ready for publication!
Great work everyone!!

I'm happy I'll be one representing the IOC for the 501st official March! The only ISB if I saw correctly.
One other I think. At least one. But it's all good!

CRLs Working List
in CRL Updates
Posted
I like the idea. As of right now, there is only one NTTL CRL being worked on, and one existing that I am definitely want to get a rework going on.
For the moment, the list would be pretty small so I'm not sure we need to have it. But we'll keep it in mind!
