Our rule (take it for what you will) - If you're a "face" character, you must look like them at all times while in public.  Several of our members on both sides, including our Obi Wan, had to get contacts to do this - they normally wear glasses.  Since Thrawn is supposed to have different eyes, that should be simple enough, prescription contacts.

For general characters, like Officers and Bridge Crew, however, glasses are allowed (and they're now cannon in the universe thanks to Rebels.)
 
So i'd say for Thrawn, take the time to get contacts you can see with that look like his eyes, and you solve two issues with one hit.

I was flicking through theRogue One Visual Guide today and got to Erso and paused.

I know there's been discussion about the patch, and to my eye, I actually think the patch looks like it's the exact same colour as the top part of the tunic.

Maybe that's why the colouring seemed off? It seems to be the colours rtplicate the colours of the tunic, IMO, to the point that I'd probably use the fabric from the upper tunic to base it on if I was building it.

Even the on screen shot in here they look like they match.

I did recall for his outfit do not have princess seams for the back. if you see the part where he knee down. you can see that there is no princess seams on it.

I used the white color from the book. But true. the white was kind of weird in someways on the outfit. So last night went to try out in the silver color.

Unfortunately, I'm not DL, so I can't effect that change, only fight for it - so right now, that won't work, but hopefully in the near future it will.

That is one of the things we're trying to amend.  The CRL is wrong.  Plain and simple.  Someone saw that top stitching and decided it was a seam without looking closely.

Not entirely accurate anymore, although the change hasn't been made.  ISB in Rogue One wore a white tunic like Krennic's.

Yep.  And I'm happy to see it.  We just have to keep in mind if we push for those at Level 3, or 2, or even 1, how much higher need there will be.  We don't want to put our members in a position to fail.

I'm all for setting them as a standard at Level 3, and could see an argument for Level 2.  I just strenuously disagree with 100% screen accurate being a requirement for Level 1.

Good point James, I have been watching Rogue one a lot over the past few days as it is available on stream now here in the U.K. To study the cape a bit more. I have my tailor to add the stitching to the collar of cape and add the two false pockets. I will show the cape once it is back from the tailors.

To chime in a little bit here. Recently, Tiggie started to offer push button rank bars (only using red and blue buttons so far, amber buttons are all on back order). The push button rank bars are more expensive than the plexiglass, but still reasonable. Also Chris is starting to make small batches of push button rank bars. So those are two potential vendors in the US at least.

Depends how long Rebels goes - I'll bet some of the changes were to make animation easier, we may see that same plate used on other characters.

If nothing else it could be something someone like Walt does when he has a spare moment.  It wouldn't sell a lot, but I could see selling some.  Just would depend on how much interest there was I guess.

I know Kev Weir makes the AT-DP/Tarkin armour - so i might get a set of this anyway for when I don't need to be totally approvable but should Grand Admiral Armour ever come available you can put me down on the list straight away.
 

Yeah :/ when I got it I was wondering why the color was off.  I will have to remake it later on own. At least I have tested out the sizing again. 

As for the shoes, it looks like a base ISB shoes.

True.  And we don't have anyone like that, but if we did that exception would be made.

We do have a completely blind Nillus - or pilot, I think he's done with that.  

There's the obvious exception for people medically incapable of wearing contacts, of course.  For some, glasses are a necessity.  The 501st does not prevent those people from participating.

What he has there is a Russian Dosimeter. I use them but have modified it to resemble the correct, blue tipped models.





As it is now, it won't work. But if he makes or buys a correct style clip and modifies the rest, this model will work. I cut a groove around the side of the plastic caps to make it look more like the blue cap, then painted it blue. The larger end, that is the top now, I made the bottom and painted it black.
