Waiting on some major components to come in, once I get everything together I'll post pictures of me in the kit, as well as detailed pictures to assist others in building one of their own.

Correct, the CRL is currently specific to a particular character per the request of Detachment Staff. Once this preliminary CRL gets clears we can create add on tabs to encompass other Mimban Officer characters that vary slightly from the base model (which is based on the one with the clearest screen shots and most screen time)

Email submitted to the LMO in regards to this CRL.   Admins, what else needs to be done to get this moving forward?  Aside from WIP pics of my actual kit building?

CRL Proposal text.  Much of this is from the Line Officer CRL, I will note major differences in color

REVISION 11/1/2018: under advisement from Detachment Staff.  Initial CRL will be for a Mimban Lieutenant, further additions may come later as add ons to this

REVISION 11/2/2018:  blaster option changed to reflect only the SE-14r and associated holster.  Requirement for coat and boots to be muddy/weathered added as optional Level 2/3 requirements.

REVISION 12/18/2018:  hat code disk L2/3 changed to NOT having a notch to match the current finding that R1 and Solo officers did not have notches on the hat disk.

Hey luvs! I just wanted to make sure everyone knows I'm still watching.. I wanted to bring up some of the concerns as I see some slightly heated debate starting.

The issue is (and I tend to agree) is that the reference is really blurry.

Now normally we could all say "Oh we can assume" (and I do say that a lot) however of all the Detachments I oversee (5 of them) This Detachment has had the biggest "blunders and blowouts" when it came to costumes that weren't accurate and the literal fallout from it. So please understand here that the main driving force for it being stalled is not about the costume being lazy, sloppy or otherwise. Its fear that we are wrong ...again.
Its hard to admit we are wrong and we have learned from past mistakes.

Example 1: We were pressured by membership to approve the First Order General with little to no (blurry) reference.
Blunder! The CRL is now gone and people are losing money on costumes they paid for and now cant have approved. I just had a guy post last week on the CRL thread. :/ That kills me inside.

Example 2: We allowed a costume accessory with little to no ref and BOOM! The entire world busted in half.

Those incidents were just in the last year....

I am extra cautious with this Detachment (and so is the staff) for good reason. Things get heated. So please do not see their less than approving stance as anything but concern for what could happen later. <3 You guys are great and this conversation should continue.
Anyone tried taking new/better screenshots from the film yet?

Shoes are a big factor, anyone see a good shot of them?

Here is the absolute best reference I can pull from that scene. Are these guys shown anywhere else?

These are sharpened and contrast tinted so that we can see details clearer. Dem shoes are SHINY!

Ok so what I see is no seams on the top at all.
    Shiny!
There appears to be a heel on them.
The heel view is sizable on the guys on the right side images I posted,

Also I agree Galens shoes look identical on the top. the heel may be a bit smaller (but that matters not!) close enough

These are straight legged pants of the same material as the tunic.  They have been available for years with the ISB Officer, which had less evidence than we have here now.

And yes you are correct, we have gone forward with less information (or incorrect information) than this for other costumes
