I agree, even though they are pricey, you know you will get a quality product that will fit correctly and stand up to numerous troops.

For harder-to-fit body types, I definitely recommend a company like Pilot Bay, which custom makes the suits to your measurements and stands behind their product.  Very active troopers who really know their stuff, and the Legion requirements, thoroughly.

In the CRL for ANH Warrant Officer it states that for Executor approval Level 2, "ANH Warrant Officer shall not wear gauntlet style gloves."   I found images from screengrabs that shows (what appears to be) a Warrant Officer in the Death Star corridor talking to several StormTroopers and Imperial Navy Troopers.    The Officer has straight leg pants, Knobelbechers and Gauntlet style gloves.    Can the CRL be reviewed and/or revised?

This would be cool and should be simple enough to accomplish once a good pic from the movie or a screen cap from the bluray is available. It would be cool to have an IN officer. It probably seems silly to most, but I thought it might be a cool addition or option to the existing CRL for the IN Dress Uniform.

Hey brian, thanks for the information! As I near completion, I'll see where I stand withthe boots and with the other Level 3 requirements. If I'm missing something, then I will just go for approval to join. And then worry about getting it to level 3 later.

My Imperial Bridge Crew is level 3 approved.   The cap I ordered from Pilot Bay, they are on Facebook and Jolly Roger Squadron (they also make flightsuits and compads).  My belt I ordered from Tigg-wolf creations, you can find them here and on JRS.   For Belt Boxes and Dosimeters I went with Philoprops on Etsay, he is from the Italian Garrison and ships fast.   If you plan on getting a blaster and need a holster,  I recommend Darman's Props I got my E-11 and DH-17 holsters in a couple of days of ordering.   The hard part is the German Knobelbekers,  the correct ones have an adjustment strap that widens to the back.  I wear a 10.5 and got lucky on EBay.   Depending on your boot size, you may have to hunt around.    If you are going to try and get your Bridge Crew to level 3, you want to make sure the flightsuit has the pointed collar and get iron on Vinyl Cogs.   There is a member here that has those available.      Just remember,  you don't need your costume at Level 3 to be a member of the 501st Legion.    Leveling up your costume should only be for the individual's own satisfaction.

Don't worry about sounding picky,  you don't.  Besides if you didn't critic then how would we strive to improve our costumes.   Will work on those issues and get new pics later. Thanks

Thanks, however it would have preferred if you kept the original pictures, so I could compare. I'll endeavor to review these this weekend.

I'd use lexan scissors or a dremel. Score/snap would also do the trick - though I prefer that method for straight cuts along flat surfaces and would probably disassemble the helmet so the skirt laid flat and easier to snap.

After months of aquiring different parts and pieces, I finally finished my costume builds for the 501st Legion.    My GML approved three of five (need to address small issue with Navy Trooper helmet) and even though we are waiting for my Legion TKID, I was allowed to go to my first event in costume.    I have been to other events, but as a Spotter/Handler/Photographer (that mantle has been passed to my girlfriend).   The event was to raise awareness for the Foster Children program in Several counties in NJ.   I wore my Imperial Warrant Officer,  which went over well.

    From the 501st website:

The applicant submits a costume to his/her GML that does not currently exist in the Legion Membership Database. The GML posts the costume to the GML forum, in the New to the Legion / No CRL topic. LMO, DL and GML review the costume and determine whether it is eligible for inclusion. This review includes: Validity of the costume (i.e. Does it meet the character approval guidelines) Is the execution of the costume of sufficient quality for inclusion in the Legion Once the costume is deemed acceptable, the member will be instructed to work with the detachment to create the CRL When the detachment is satisfied with the CRL, it will go to the LMO for review. When the LMO approves the CRL, the new costume will be added to the membership database

Hey, everyone, sorry for the silence. Had to deal with Cosplaysky about getting a new tunic sent over to me. Should be here within a week or so hopefully, and then I'll post photos. Still waiting on my belt and rank tile as well.

I have been talking with Walter from Walt's Trooper Factory about making the Moff shoulder piece and gauntlets for my girlfriend. If interest is high enough, Walt may make this an available item. I know there are others here looking to do Moff Nyna Calixte, also the shoulder piece is used by other Moffs in the Moff Council. Anyone interested can contact Walter on Facebook at WTF:Walt's Trooper Factory.
